MEH, That is sooo old.
Plus, there was also a comment from Gaider saying that a Qunari romance would be just complying to some type of fetish...
-looks at Iron Bull then looks back to you-
I read that when he said he didn't like dwarfmances, he was trolling?
Phone battery....about to die..
Hate when that happens.
I actually think his need for closure on that is part of what makes him an excellent romance candidate this time around. There...are really people who would be mad about that? *remembers she's on the BSN* Oh yeah. Never mind.
It could be like the reverse of meeting Gorim in the market!
Bianca: And now you can take your place at my side once more!
Varric: ...About that...I thought you were dead, and there's this girl...and a crossbow...
I don't really think that has any bearing on whether Varric is a romance or not at this point. But I didn't like Gaider's joke at all.

Yeah, I understand that.
But if it DOES happen that Varric isn't an LI, I'm totally blaming him. JK

Why do you assume Bianca would want to go back with Varric if they met?

I don't know anything about her and haven't read the comics. I just thought it was funny.
I don't. I don't know anything about her and haven't read the comics. I just thought it was funny.
Just putting that idea out there ![]()
Man we post fast... catching up, but saw that we were posting first Inquisitors- I'm debating between archer and dual-wielding Cadash. Helpful, but with a sense of humor. Basically he likes to have fun, but is a bit of a goody-two-shoes, because that is adorable in a rogue in my head and fits well with Varric, who will make her blush a lot at his inevitable crude jokes ![]()
-Loud sigh- I'm supposed to finish my Dragon Age 2 play through (I'm at act 3 ) but I really want to play as a dwarf right now so I've turned on DA:O
Should I be a Commoner or a Noble ? If I'm the latter, I was thinking of finally doing a play through where Bhelen actually isn't killed.

I didn't see that but I am also thinking of, if Varric is a romance playing a dwarf rogue with him. Probably an Archer because I never do an archer with the dwarves in DA:O
Warden Amell + Morrigan
Ritual
Alistair+Anora
Loghain lives
Mage Hawke+ Anders
Templar Carver
Saarabas+Cullen
Dwarf Commoner+Alistair
Alistair does ritual
Bhelan
Cadash+Varric, if possible
Dalish elf +Alistair
Loghain lives, Dalish very sad
Loghain does ritual
Hawke+Merril
Dalish mage+Iron Bull, if not Solas

Actually, Dwarf Commoner encourages you to side with him. I don't think I could bring myself to do it with a Dwarf Noble.

Oh, I've kept Bhelen alive with everyone BUT The Noble, that was what I was meaning so I wanted to see how that played out. Haha

I do it often. Dialog is a bit different, and, while Bhelan is a terrible person, I think it benefits Orzamaar in the longrun. After I figured that out, I rarely side with Harrowment, who is a weak, weak man. Doing a commoner run where she found Endrin's letter to Harrowment and...yeah, Rica's not happy. Will also be doing a noble run for Harrowment, because I heard he names the warden his heir.
I tend to prefer cross-species romances, so romancing Varric to a dwarf is quite uninspired, I feel, but that might be how he's gated, and I like to tie the games together as much as I can. Merril irks me, but I still plan my Dalish Warden's Hawke to romance her, because she knew the warden. My impulse is to romance the Dalish inquisitor to Solas because elf, but he may not be a LI and it's unlikely he'll tie into the Dalish warden (mage elf, maybe) in any meaningful way.
My impulse is to romance my saarabas to Varric or Iron Bull because
, but I think if he's not gated that way, teh lulz of romancing her to Cullen ought to win.
Headcanoning my Dalish mage, who may have a position of leadership in some form among her clan, to feel that the time of elves has ended and they're better off erasing themselves through love, ie, breeding themselves out of existence.

Oh, well, I would be curious too. But I probably just couldn't bring myself to respect my character after that. Kind of like how it was hard for me to keep playing ME3 after killing Wrex. Although admittedly that had more to do with what I knew was coming near the end ![]()
ME3 had a crappy final sequence, but otherwise I still consider it the best of the trilogy.

The only time I didn't have Wrex at the end of Mass Effect 3 is when Wreav replaced him. Otherwise...Nope, I just can't do it. Wrex is one of my favorite characters so I just can't haha.
I loved ME3 and felt the endings were much better after Extended Version.

I'm curious. What's wrong with Endrin's letter, exactly? I don't think there was anything that would affect Rica there.
