Is it quiet everywhere or is it just me imagining things?

I'm hanging out with my hubby before he goes to bed.  Didn't get a chance to watch Frozen yet, and I'm not going to until he's awake enough to make it through a movie without dozing off.  I'm around though.   ;)

...Wonder how necromancy is going to tie back to Leandra?  Or if it will.

I honestly wonder more about Cassandra.  See, in Nevarra, they don't burn their dead like they do in most of Thedas.  They mummify them and according to WoT, they have a higher-than-usual rate of corpse based abominations running around as a result.  I have a feeling that Cass might not get along with Dorian.  A Tevinter necromancer?   Awesome guy or not, I can't see Cass ending up too happy about this.  This might not fly well.

Leliana...not sure yet.

Not Leandra specifically, exactly, so much as the killer.  Varric could say something like, if your inquisitor picks the necromancer spec, "Met a man who could do that, once.  It wasn't pretty, and it hurt someone I cared for."

Ah, now I see what you're getting at.  Hmm, maybe.  I know players have asked for a reaction to class, unlike the jedi mind trick that the MageHawke pulled in DA2.  Sure, I could see him making a comment along those lines.  I don't think it would really impact very much of the reaction he has to the PC (in short, no "class gating",) but I could see that being commented upon.  I haven't come up with much past this, but these were a few of my ideas.

Human Mage: "This may sound like an odd thing to ask, but is it...just you in there?  I had a friend that was always struggling with his own inner demons.  It ended badly."

Qunari Mage: "I met someone like you before.  He was too honorable for his own good, but he never tried to harm us."

Dalish Mage: "I hope you don't have an interest in mirrors.   What? I knew a pretty girl that tried to get herself into trouble with one."

That's my hope.  I tend to ignore things like taking my apostate into Denerim next to a templar, wearing mage robes and carrying a staff, or that DA2 combat in front of the guard, and I disagree that certain class/LI combos shouldn't happen (Fenris/Alistair+blood mage).  Special dialog is so much more interesting than gating.

Dwarven Mage: "Alright I know the world's gone all topsy turvey what with the sky raining demons down on us and all, but I'm still pretty sure you're not supposed to exist."

I had a few scripts speculating how to do dialogs for race/class/LI combos that shouldn't exist.  This was one:

Varric: ...Stop.

Saarabas: What is it?

Varric:  It's...the Viscount's Keep, the smell of the blood from the ones who stood up to them, and the viscount looking up at me from the floor.  He was dead, but he was still looking at me.  And then they took Isabella, and Hawke...just let them.  After that, I never thought I'd see the qunari as anything but--

Saarabas:  *kisses him to silence him* I'm tal-vashoth, not qunari.

Later:

Varric:  So...remember when you asked why I call my crossbow "Bianca?"  Let me tell you the story...*fade to black, player never hears it*.

In this case, Varric is being completely honest with her, a side of himself he never shows, not even to Hawke.

I like it. <3 especially *kisses him to silence him*

If something like that happens (which I hope it does), I'll always be a bit jealous on behalf of my Hawke.

I don't know if our companions will be mentioning our specs like that in open conversation.  But if we ever actually use Necromancy during a quest, I would like to see Varric mention Leandra and Hawke.

I'm back! I didn't see anything scary or weird. Slender Man bores me.

I am actually disappoint T.T I wanted to be scared when I played Slender

 If you ever really want to be scared I could probably recommend a few games.

Omg Jewlie, I think you're cooler every day.  B) It's rare I find a horror buddy. If you haven't played any of the others in that tag, I recommend em all, so good...

I've played outlast! That was great. As for amnesia it just didn't scare me. Maybe because I was doing a lot of stupid things like acting like Harry Potter whenever I found a broom but I'll give it another try. I did like it though!

Dark souls didn't scare me either and people told me I'd be scared. I was more annoyed 88% of the time

Haha! xD Amnesia didn't scare me much, either, but I found the atmosphere great and the game enjoyable overall. Actually, Penumbra:Black Plague, one of their earlier games, scared the pants off me at certain points. :s It felt much more... unsettling? The whole time through.

I feel the same way about DS, I've never finished a playthrough. -_- Oh, have you ever played Silent Hill? (any of them?) More creepy than scary, but great games.
