I'm following the Romance Thread right now... but there isn't any bad Talk about Isabela. I must be blind. or oblivious. Although... I don't like Isabela (can't stand this casual Attitude about Relationships n stuff), so I would probably partake in bad Talk about her.

 

Varric, on the other Hand, is the most awesome Person in Dragon Age. Except Merrill. She's awesome, too.

Normally I don't read stuff like this because the writers usually go all OOC with the characters. But this.... THIS!

I liked pretty much all the party members in DA2 but I couldn't stand Isabela. Just something about her really irked me. I didn't find her banter all that entertaining either. I know  lot of people did but I ended up not using her at all in my party. Varric, on the other hand, never left the party! He cracked me up. I'm still holding out hope that he is romanceable this time around!

That shouldn't be a problem. I do not make a habit of bashing characters.   I like characters that many dislike. Isabela is a rarity in that respect. I like to think it's just because she is the type of person I would not get along with in RL. Nothing against her as a character, just not to my taste. I can not think of another character I actually disliked in a Bioware game!
