Ok here's another fun question for everyone. You get to bring Varric with you as your plus one to the Orlesian Ball mission. What kind of romantic moments can you see happening? And if you have the option to dance, do you think he will be a good or bad dancer?

He'll be such a perfect gentleman to everyone at the ball that Inquizzy can easily search any suspicious rooms and such. If you show the slightest amount of jealousy, he'll flirt with you so nicely there's no doubt that you can tell when he really means it.

 

Dunno if he's a good dancer. But he can smooth talk his way out of it if he has to.

Something suave, I think. Boy has a lot of charm and knows how to use it. As for dancing? I could see Varric preferring to duck away to a quiet corner to have a moment rather than dance, but I imagine he can dance if he has too-- or fake well enough. I could see him getting a bit awkward over dancing with anyone but a dwarf, though, just because if he has danced he's probably only danced with dorfettes before, so figuring out the height difference might throw off his smoothness just a little bit.

I think Varric would be an amazing date like everyone has said already. He knows how to treat a lady and even if quizzy was taller, he'd probably just make a joke about his hand placement and lead her onto the dance floor anyway   Most of all I can imagine them laughing all evening.

I always wondered what would happen if I used that customization.  There's one for Merrill and Athenril too.

@Twillight I think people would be looking at them funny as they make their way to the dance floor, but then he completely owns it and surprises everyone with his smooth dance moves. Knowing Varric, that's just the way he'd want it and I doubt he'd pass on the oppurtunity to show those snotty nobles up.

Varric would be a totally smooth dancer, we all know it. His charm level is too high for anything else. If anything, it will be my Inquisitor learning from him during a dance.   Even if he doesn't have much experience dancing he could make up moves on the dance floor just as quickly as he makes up stuff in his stories.
