Just a mask?  Nothing else?  I suppose if we needed a distraction...

I see more of a cat for Sera.  I think the heavy kohl around her eyes is more tricks of the engine, if you check out her character kit.  I put it on the OP of her fan thread.  She doesn't look like she's wearing nearly as much eyeliner.   :P

...I could see someone modding Frostbite just to make that happen.

Dude, if they fix the frostbite-modding issue, that's what the first mod will be. Them Cullenites have been planning it since DA:O :P

I was just trying to think of another sneaky animal and living in the midwest my mind just went to racoon. The eyeliner thing was just a happy accident. Although now it just occured to me, Varric is a magpie! ;-)

Magpie was my one of my choices for Sera's nickname, funny enough.  I even wrote a short bit of banter based on that idea.  :P

Okay, I knew Varric as a fox was reminding me of something, and now that I remember I have to ask. Was this inspired by that Varric-pillow Aimo designed? The one with the fox ears?

There's a drawing of a Varric-pillow with fox ears. I'm trying to find it now.

There's an Aimo comic with a Varric fox pillow, and her wardens and their LI's react to it.

Got it!

Okay, it could possibly be a wolf, or something similar. His hands made me think fox, though.

I had no idea that existed.  I'm not too surprised though.  It sounds like fun, to be honest.   :D

I just figured that foxes generally tend to be gold, red and brown, which suits Varric's coloring.  They're small.  They're cute, and very smart.  In some breeds, their fur changes color depending upon the season for camouflage.  Varric's damned good at hiding.  The other part is that I'm biased and I have a winged fox tattoo, so I might love the animal quite a bit.   :P

Edit: LOL awesome.

Owls have long been associated with patience and meditative wisdom in myths in our world, such as with the Goddess Athena.  The creatures themselves tend to be loners, and Varric is quite the social animal. <graaawl> :P

Varric has certainly earned his wisdom and he's a good listener, but he's not the studious/serious type.  However, an owl would be perfect for Solas.

Aren't foxes in folklore usually associated with cunning and generally seen as tricksters? It's a good match for our lovable rogue.

Yep.  As animals, they are very loyal as well.  Got into a conversation with a pack of foxes about 10 years ago at midnight one night.  Just started answering their calls, and we talked for about 10 minutes.  I have no idea what was being said, but I had fun.  I can't imagine what the neighbors thought of that one.  :P

Very true. I was just thinking about the fluffy chest. Seems like Fox is our best bet.

Me and my music sometimes.  I'm not going for Hendrix, too overdone.  :P

Change the pronoun from female to male in your mind.   ;)

I used to be a hunt saboteur back in the late 90's so foxes are special to me, Foxfoxfox!
