You know, it's funny how the troll threads are in this side of the forum but NOT the feedback/suggestions one, kinda proves that they're just attention seekers.
I don't know, I think the thread were I watched yesterday compare Iron Bull to Sloth from the Goonies was pretty trollish if you ask me. 
I'm just laughin' at the trolls by this point, psh. There's one troll thread in here someone connected back to another thread in off-topic where people are actually giving advice on how to make us mad in here. So done. xD

What I usually do is report the first post. If the OP hasn't done anything wrong and the thread just flew off the deep end, I let them know in my report that the OP isn't the problem but the thread is toxic.

It was meant to be cruel and insulting, and a shot against his looks. I've read the person's previous posts and they were basically stating that someone that looked like Sloth was too ugly to be some to love or romance.
If they were trying to compare Sloth to IB regarding his loyalty or the goodness of his heart, then I would have agreed. Sloth was an awesome guy, but I can promise the poster didn't mean the comparions in any kind way. Instead, it left a bad taste in my mouth.

I think I might know who you're talking about. I've noticed a couple specific posters seem to enjoy complaining about his looks openly and with many insults. 
I'm just glad they've finally added a different race to the LI's. Now if we had a dwarf, it would be perfect. >3

They did concede to my point about what Garrus might look like to someone that has never played any of the ME series. It didn't stop them, but I at least got them to admit that point.
Also, general tip: Just stay away from The Lobby. It's just usually pain and trolls there.

It's a dang shame just the appearance of a character can get some people to act so hatefully.

I stay away from everywhere but this very part of the forums a good majority of the time, because I know it's (mostly) safe here.

That's why I mostly just stay in the Varric thread these days. I did poke my head into the romance thread the other night though. I just don't want deal with the negativity.
I can handle it some days better than others, but that thread keeps allowing me to make awesome posts, so I stick around. The key is that I just usually leave the thread and stop posting when I'm really fed up. Other times, it's a chance for me to really be able to speak my mind about something.
For example, if you see any variation of the words, "Sex with the Tranquil," just run. Do not post, do not pass Go, do not collect $200. Just run.
