So since we're all feeling damn confident that Varric will be an LI, lets talk sexuality and race-gate. I'm gonna say he's Bi, but I've got no evidence to support it other then that he's never said he didn't like men. I also think he'll be available to Dwarves and Elves, I doubt Qunari because of Kirkwall and humans because of his earlier statements. (Though theirs no way to know if he was joking or not.)

We're sneaking up on Cass' thread.  Still have a ways to go to catch up with Dorian's fans.

I've got a bit of evidence that he could be Bi. He can be flirted with by a male or a female Hawke and he'll respond regardless of Hawke's gender. 

If you're female it's the line about how women can never resist his chest hair but if you're male I believe he says "You're too high maintenance for me".

Was this the conversation about how Varric's PTSD might get in the way of him becoming genuinely attracted to a Qunari?

 

Also, a thought, what if he's not romanceable by the Inquisitor, but it is possible for him to form a deep loving relationship with one of our other companions?

If they wanted to give Human protagonists a bonus, they'll probably make Viv and Varric romancable to Humans as well. Dunno if that's on the table tho.
