Being nibbled by a puppy is cute. It's not so cute when she's two hundred pounds and you can't have guests in the house because she eats them.
I'm a firm believer that there are no bad dogs, just people who don't know how to train them.
I'm fine. She scraped me, my boots suffered the worst of it. So my skins not broken but yeah. As for appropriate reaction from the owner? Nah. His dog held onto me for a block and half. I thought if I ignored it then it would stop biting at me. Didn't work. He shouted his "Sorry she's only five months old" from his yard as his 10 year old daughter tried to pull it off my leg. I'm really more mad than injured.
I agree with you the "no bad dogs". I love animals but...some people just shouldn't have pets.

Sorry to hear about what happened to you hun. As a dog owner, "just a puppy" isn't an excuse for a dog doing that.

I just slapped this together real quick. But the pic below is a comparison between DA2 and DAI Varric.
He's definitely received some "pretty boy" treatment. The first time I ever saw him, I thought he was going to be a LI because of it.
So how many chest hairs do you think they had to place on Varric?
Hmm, I can see that now. It does stand out if you compare the two side by aside. Also, is it just me or does the new version of Varric look a lot more like Brian Bloom? Am I just projecting here?

But he definitely got a more chiseled look and less receding hair line for DAI. And maybe it's just me... but I feel lke they tried to put some Bloom in him. I think it's the eyes.

I bet their is a single developer at Bioware who was given the coveted job of making each individual chest hair. I'm sure he weeps tears of love every time he see's a screenshot.

That's fair enough, I'd say most of us Varric Fanboys/girls will feel something similar if Solas or Blackwall get the spot. No hard feelings of course.

Kind of sad. Varric has a lot lore around why he can't be romance. The man carries his love for Bianca with his crossbow. As long has he has Bianca I can't see him as a romance. I would feel like the other person the relationship. That, and I kind of want to make out with Blackwall.

Well theirs several ways around these issues, Varrics quest could involve getting over Bianca and forgiving himself for what happened. As for racegating, well someones going to get gated no matter what, makes sense for it to be Varric. The Hawke one I don't get, are you saying he should get with Hawke ?
