Amen. And it was kind of creepy too. When I first saw it, it bothered me, but I couldn't really put into words why. (I just assumed it was because I was one of those people that kind of shipped him together with Cortez.) But when other people started talking about it, I realized it wasn't just me. And then watching it again, I realized just why it was so skeevy.

As much as I was tempted to I never ever shipped Vega/Cortez beyond bromance. I liked the fact that the dudebro straight guy could be best friends with the workaholic sweetheart gay guy. It was the sort of friendship that made me smile.

Though thinking about shipping companions, I have this powerful need for an NPC/Companion/Adviser to have a (possibly) unrequited crush on Varric... I just really want to see how he'd handle that sort of situation.

I like it both ways, but I know what you're talking about. The fact that Bioware had the two of them as best friends was a great move.

That would be cool! I wonder if Inquisition will be like in ME3, where your non-romanced characters can get together. I know some people didn't like it, but I thought it was nice that they actually had a life outside of the PC.

I loved their friendship too. x3 It was heartwarming.

And that's an interesting thought... I wonder who it would most likely be.

Hell I'm a fan of Dorian/IB... it just sounds like something that would work so well. After all they are 2/3rds of team YOLO, and the other 1/3rd would have no interest in either of them .

Oooh I wonder if Varric will have a hand in pairing them, he and Izzy seemed to have a fun time of it in DA2, maybe he'll drag Sera into the tradition . The real question though, is who would Varric ship .

I'll totally ship Dorian/Iron Bull on my playthroughs I'm not romancing Iron Bull. An ex-magister and a 'member' of the Qun... they both have in a sense left their traditions behind them. >D yes, I like it. I feel like Varric and Isabela now.

I don't know. Maybe Cassandra with someone? Or Cullen. I can see him trying to get the two of them to relax.

To be fair, at least people can still have LI as a straight female for all 3 games. Gay dudes, not so much. ME seems to be designed for a straight dudebro's games. It's evident in how they treat other orientations and gender. I find the whole bisexual race consists entirely of women seem more to appeal to the straight male's fantasy than anything else. Even the lesbian shower scene with Samantha just seems very male-oriented. All the LIs that are dead or cheated are for straight females while all the straight male's LI all survive and have extended scenes at the Citadel.
