I really wouldn't call her a trans. I see her as more an amnesiac soul bounded to a suit of rock. She only doesn't see herself as female because that was buried in the centuries worth of memories of staring into utter blackness and another 30 years of being in Haven. 

 

And I'd say she is still alive in the traditional sense since in the DA world spirits and demons are not flesh and blood yet are still alive. And Shale was also awesome.

 

I know different views and all that, but felt this needed responding to.  

 

Arguably she's trans* either way, it's just a question of whether she identifies with her first or second birth-body. (That's totally not an awkward way to put it.)

Same here. She was my favorite character in Awakening. Here's to hoping we may see her again.

Sigrun was awesome. A romance arc with her would also be awesome.

 

It's a shame, though, after Anders' personal arc in DA2 ignored a lot of potential story lines for him in DAA, I kind of doubt we'll see any of our Awakening companions back in significant roles. Which sucks, since Sigrun and Nathaniel would both be welcome additions to any team I'd put together, romance or no.

I'm sympathetic to Loghain. On my first playthrough I let him live. But after that it depended on how honorable or moral my character was.

 

My main play through is a fem noble dwarf warden who romanced alistair. I let logain live but that character had a great head cannon growth arc that I put into practice threw the duration of the game. Started off as the spoiled princess who was great with a sword and truely naive to the world and slowly as her brother betrays her and the world keeps bearing down on her her choices become less idealized and more pragmatic, her choice with logain was more of a hey with 3 of us that's three more chances to save everything. Made her brother king because even if he was a traitor to her he played the game the best.

 

My dwarf noble has the best story imo generally she left Fereldan in a good state I think she was lots of fun to play and can't wait to see what happened to her efforts in DAI

 

Oh and logain killed the arch-demon, a fitting end to the hero who helped win back his homeland.

Speaking of, because we don't have enough to talk about, did I thank everyone for their help with The List yet? I know I got credit for head compiler, but we had a lot of people throw in things I'd missed, so I feel weird taking the credit. It was a good team effort.

Speaking of, because we don't have enough to talk about, did I thank everyone for their help with The List yet? I know I got credit for head compiler, but we had a lot of people throw in things I'd missed, so I feel weird taking the credit. It was a good team effort.

 

I only contributed one thing, but I was pleasantly surprised how much so many others added, it was a great idea. :3

I like the idea, but I'm not the greatest judge, since I don't really wear jewelry. Definitely like to see it, though.

I tend to let Loghain live, despite all the things he has done. Trina Brosca (dwarf commoner) believes in second chances as she felt that the Grey Wardens gave her a second chance from a life of crime. She also gave Zevran a second chance (and inevitably fell in love with him).

 

Loghain is also written by Mary Kirby. He's HILARIOUS.
