I haven't been visiting the other threads as frequently as I used to, what's the horizon looking like from the Solas thread's POV?
Some of them are also convinced 100% that Solas is the new LI. So no matter what, there will be heartbreak.

The only problem with Vivienne not being a love interest is the equal number of options for gays and straights.
They wouldn't have necessarily run into the problem of "needing" to make Vivienne an option if there was a more equal ratio of male/female characters.

Oh I'm certain Varric spent quite a lot of time painting his favorite Hawke siblings to be as good looking as possible .
The only problem with Vivienne not being a love interest is the equal number of options for gays and straights.

It would certainly drive home the point of never assuming anything until the devs confirm it.
