You guys make me laugh.  I've been catching up and reading this and the romance thread.  Regarding DG's comment: I said about 6 weeks ago that I cast any sense of perfect balance of LIs the minute that the 6:3 gender split was confirmed.  So all DG did today was confirm again what I pretty much already knew: There might be a group that has one more LI than the rest.

Anyhow, I'm still sticking with my gut, and I think Varric is next.  I really want him to be bi (truly I do,) but I don't think that's what the DA team is going to do with his romance.  I have a feeling he'll be straight, and gated probably against qunari and humans.  I think that Vivi is going to be bi gated against dwarves and elves.

 

And now, for my pre-coffee warm up music.  Some of those pieces of fan art have been fantastic, as well as...creative.  So, here's a goofy song to put us in the mood to get ready for page 300.

@All As I put in the romance thread, I'd rather spend the rest of the summer laughing my ass off with you guys then worry about the LIs and race-gating.  I would be sad if Varric isn't a LI too, but we do have our best bud back.  That's half the battle right there.  I do feel in my heart-of-hearts that Varric is a LI, but rather than spending our days biting our nails and looking anxiously at the calendar, let's just have fun for the summer.  The information will come when the marketing team decides it fits into their stragedy, and this will be over soon.  Besides, we could be waiting ~another month for the last LI reveal.  It wouldn't surprise me if they announce Vivienne at Comic Con, and then Varric a few weeks later at PAX Prime.

 

So, in the meantime, in honor of our comrades in the Solas forum...
