On the other hand, their silence makes me more optimistic than not- I mean, if its "no way, no chance" why not just tell us that?

I am trying to keep my hope balanced to be honest. Varric is a popular character and maybe that is the reason why they are dancing around the question fully? They may be a bit nervous.

I'm thinking the same thing, especially after that one interview awhile back. I keep telling myself that they're trying to keep it as a surprise, considering how bad the fanbase wanted a romance with him in DA:2. Until they confirm he's not an LI, I'll keep holding a torch for Varric!
I've decided that if he is not LI my baby bump will be open for rubbing because rubbing it comforts me, so I will share it with my fellow Varric fans.

We're all on real friendly terms here (I was actually recording all the earlier questions in thw Q&A solely because one of our own, Ajna could not see them and I decided to share them after she got hers). So no worries about that!

LOL- d'aaaaawwwwwww. That's a sacrifice too- I remember being very weirded out when absolute strangers would randomly touch my belly when I was in my third trimester. Also- don't worry about the crying- it'll mostly stop after you're done nursing. I very rarely cry, but right before the mancub was born, the singing puppy commercial for the flea and tick preventative made me bawl!
