One can hope. 

We live in hope around here.  We experienced the alternative for a little too long.

Some thoughts I had:

 

It was truly crushing to go to Jarvia and find Leske at her side.  But if one plays anything but a commoner, Leske is still in the prison and can be let go.  I'd kinda like to know what becomes of him.  Maybe we find an unnamed dwarf voiced by Brian Bloom running a shop, and we can ask him about himself.

 

Inquisitor:  How'd you get that limp?

Surface Dwarf: Made some bad decisions, ran with the wrong crowd, lost someone I cared about. 

 

After leaving the stall, Varric can say, "That guy sounds awfully familiar."

 

 

 

How much of DA2 is the way Varric describes and how much is the way Cassandra pictures it?  Perhaps the caves and the houses in Hightown look the way they do because Varric didn't put much detail into floorplans.

Leske was my first crush in Origins, and I was pretty bummed at his fate.  I liked him, and it's funny that I didn't realize that was Brian Bloom until pretty recently, when I recognized his voice.

 

I did find out something interesting today: The Cadash Quizzy is going to be either current or ex-Carta.  That could make for some interesting stories and it's helping Kris (my dwarf quizzy that's starting to form) develop a sense of personality.

 

As far as DA2, I think it's because Cassandra is picturing it in her mind.  Somehow, I think Varric going, "..and then we entered a cave," with no other details would probably just give her one place to imagine in her mind.  I also like to think she's only be to one cave around the Wounded Coast, and is familiar with the layout to Hawke's home.  So that's my best guess as well.

He's in the Dwarf Commoner Origin in DA:O and he is Also found in the prison during the Jarvia quest in Orzamar

He's your best friend and partner in the Castless Dwarf Origin. You'll re-encounter him in the quest to kill Jarvia when you return to Orzamaar. If you're playing as a Warden other than Brosca you can find him still alive and in Jarvia's prison. 

 

I was always bummed that my Brosca couldn't take him to the surface with her...

This is a bit random, but as i play DA2 again i noticed something.

 

Varrics necklace. Its pretty cool.

 

I dont think it would look good on anyone but him, but i kind of like the bronze beads string together by a circle.

It's a dragon age version of a game called "cards against humanity". If you don't know that game, it's basically a very mature (and more hilarious) version of apples to apples.
