The entire lot of us generally don't care one way or the other. Since about 80% of us are girls, and the few boys such as myself are willing to go female to get Varric. It's not much of an issue.

Varric has never mentioned explicitly that he only digs the ladies, nor has he given hints that he doesn't want to be with them. It's not unrealistic to think that he could swing both ways.

That said, it sounds like the Varric arguments on the romance thread are getting kinda repetitive maybe we should brainstorm some new things for them to argue about, so it's not just the same old arguments getting rehashed all the time.

Why would that be disrespectful? We've laid down very strict rules to ensure respectful celebration for when he's announced.

Ah...every ones tense right now. I wouldn't take it personally, but it's rather unfair of them to act like they wouldn't do the same if their choice gets the LI spot.

I've never had an issue playing an opposite-gender PC.  I always found it weird that some people do.  Like saying, "I only read books where the main character is the same gender as me.  I just can't put myself into their shoes otherwise."

 

I tend to think of Hawke as being female, though.  They both change depending on what story I want to tell, but when I picture Hawke, it's not the default, it's a white-haired, pale-eyed, tattooed female mage.

Exactly what I was thinking. Bioware has long stated not everyone will get everything they want so at some point ya gotta move on. Just like we did in DA2.

I didn't mean you Chaos perhaps if I'd said "I'm getting sick and tired of this bullshit, Chaos" it would have made more sense haha..I was expressing my frustration in your direction not at you or because of you *hugs*

I still think that people take the LIs too seriously.  It's just a game.  If one cannot find something to enjoy about it, then this is probably not the game one needs to play.
