Don't care how I want it now!  Yeah, I don't know I'm sure if it did happen though it'd be like the rest, some flirting option will pop up, and things will proceed...probably awkwardly at first.

Soo apparently they're under the impression that we're going to run screaming into every thread about how we got Varric and everyone else didn't get their choice.

 

 

I'll feel sad for out fellow brothers and sisters in the Solas and Blackwall threads, and I'll give them my most humble sympathies. But I think we're all entitled to be happy. Better yet, it's just a game. If Varric doesn't get the spot I'll be disappointed but I'm not gonna pout about it. I'll just move on.

I can see where some might find us going into threads and saying, "Good game" would be considered condescending, especially when tone and inflection can't be heard, and especially by those who would expect, or they themselves perform, the worst possible action. 

 

However, in my case, no matter who takes the last two slots I'm going to be genuinely upset someone else didn't.  They're all just...awesome.

Solas has the coolest powers.

Vivienne is ambitious, sometimes I like playing a social-climber.

Varric is...Varric.  Varric needs no further explanation.

Post gifs and vids in this thread, state your happiness over the situation in relevant gen threads (like the twitter thread where it will likely be announced), and visit the other threads to offer hugs and condolences.

 

Also Don't forget to ignore trolls and negative nacies wherever you can

That said, the bash we will be holding in this thread once the announcement is made shall be one for the history books! Ain't nobody gonna bring us down.

Maybe I'm just crazy, but If Varrics not available I won't be angry with the other threads for celebrating that their characters got picked. When Dorian was announced as male only I choked up because the happiness in that thread was so beautiful! I didn't throw a hissy fit because he'd be unavailable to my female characters, I saw it as a good reason to  try out a male one instead.

I'm not even a Dorian fan, but that thread was such fun when he got announced. I'm so happy they all got what they wanted.

This is exactly what I did and I wanted Dorian too, it was impossible to not feel fantastic for our gay community.

Not really, if they tell us they don't want our good wishes then we leave them alone without another word and that's about the best we can do. I don't see the Solas and Blackwall threads doing that. They're nice folks.

I think our relationship with the Solas thread would mean they would be ok. But yeah I see the worry, it's hard to know..
