Not really, if they tell us they don't want our good wishes then we leave them alone without another word and that's about the best we can do. I don't see the Solas and Blackwall threads doing that. They're nice folks.
Cheers yup, they are some really great communities. We've had some fun with the Solas thead in the past, and Blackwallers share a sincere love of Lady Aimo with us. I think everyone will be able to resolve things peacefully when the time comes.
Well, we'd be happy. I'm sure there was celebration for IB and Dorian. Why can't we celebrate in the appropriate thread too?
I think it's more that most are assuming Varric would be straight, and therefore create some inequality in options.
Oh, And I know for a FACT there was celebrating in the Josephine/Scribbles thread when we found out she was LI, bi and nongated...

Sometime's life's not fair or equal. While I realize that Bethany/Carver was to balance out the party, I'd have liked them to be random, with no clear way to tell which one you'll get until the ogre.

Pay them no mind, Ajna. All this hate has been thrown all over the place. It was thrown at the Sera fans. It was thrown at the Cullenites. And, it might sadly, be thrown at the VarricMancers. That certain thread (non-specifically mentioning the thread) is the butthurtiest of the butthurt. And in my opinion, some people in that certain thread need to sit down, eat some cookies, and keep quiet for at least 2 seconds.

poor Carver, he'd be dead in like 95 % of the play throughs. xD
I'd like that. The problem wasn't only balance in the party though, but story reasons. A Carver/non mage Hawke is very different from the other combos, because it removed the mage problem.Sometime's life's not fair or equal. First I should note that my Quiizy will hopefully be an M!Cadash. Least that's my current plan.
