Hard to believe we're almost halfway to 400 already. Didn't we hit 300 like two days ago ?

Sorry, they spent  the hair animation budget on Blackwalls beard and Varrics chest hair. There's none left for anyone else. 

And this makes me wish I had a PC because the mod would be out in one to two months after release.

Just had the best idea: Someone with the knowledge to do so make a Varric fanvid using the song from the lego movie and fanarts from the varricmancer community, all credited accordingly. PM me with the YouTube link and I'll use it in the celebratory/consolation banner when we hear the news.

If such a thing is done I think it would be best if it was unveiled at the announcement to preserve the impact.

I wish you could unequip your staff. I mean, it makes sense why no Templars could tell the Wardern anything about them being a Mage but Hawke or Bethany are no bodies in the beginning. With all the time you go to the gallows, they should have been taken to the circle. Granted Bethany does if you don't take her to the deep roads but Hawke??

I almost felt sorry for Cullen when he went on about how "mages can't be treated like people" to my mage Hawke... Like, dude! You're talking to three mages right now! Are you blind? xD

I like to think that he is purposely over looking it, as they saved his life, or Varric is paying them to look the other way,

It was said that he was supposed to have some dialogue for reacting to a mage Hawke, but it didn't make the cut. So, canon-ly, he was just super clueless. But, in my mind, I'm right there with ya.

I wish there was an option for Sarcastic Hawke to trash talk mages in a sarcastic manner with Cullen agreeing to everything they said while Hawke is a Mage.
It would make me giggle

I'm thinking it might possibly be how his helmet slot works. I mean every companion has his own style of armor so maybe helmets work in a similar way ?

That's true! And the only hat/helmet I can see Varric in is the Sex Hat...

Or you can just use that all important wonderful "Hide helmet" option.

 

Though, admittedly, I wouldn't want to hide that sweet Inquisitor Mage hat.
