I would like to clarify that I have seen the term Varricmancer widely used out of BSN long before I even mentioned it here.

I am personally not a huge fan of the Varric/Bianca ship but I would rather not start a fight in this thread.

We're already struggling to keep ourselves together as is.

I have to admit that if I see more Varric/Bianca shippers, I might end up unfollowing this thread altogether.

I am currently struggling with some personal issues at the moment and I might not be able to handle stress over some fictional characters.

Sorry, life just sucks at the moment here. I can explain via PM if you want.

I really wished I'd seen this earlier, but I rarely read previous pages. Please, please don't leave. You are one of the pillars of our little community and a joy to chat with. I don't know you half as well as I'd like to, and I'm sure you can find a better person to send your thoughts or worries too, But you can always shoot me a PM if you need someone to talk to. @Bernbliss: Oghren's kind of complicated, in my option. He has some depth, but you have to dig a little to really find it. So my patience with him comes and goes, depending on what I'm doing during a playthrough.

Yeah, he has some interesting moments. I'm just happy not to see him as often anymore

 

I liked Orghen he was my goof off drinking buddy and one of my dwarf OCs buddys too but I didn't' like what they did with him in Awakening he went backwards with his character a little bit to me and that made me pretty sad to see, though I don't like Awakening in general so maybe I'm just looking for more reasons to justify to myself to not play it ^^;

 

You know what? I think I'd have to agree. He really went backwards in character in Awakening. Which is a shame because I see the potential there for a good character arch that just isn't there :/

*snaps fingers* That's it. Varric and Iroh have a lot in common, but Iroh is larger than life to me, whereas Varric tends to be sly and understated. I just can't move past that difference, even when they really are similar in a lot of other ways.

Oh god I know, the picture makes me very depressed to know that spectacles probably haven't been invented yet in Thedas... my Artificer may just have to fix that.

Nope! I hate the Qun. Honestly, part of the reason I wanted to play a qunari mage is because of what a major bullet they dodged, which gives pathos, which I like. The fact that they're leading the Inquisition is pretty much the biggest f*** you they could give the Qun. I'm actually a little worried Ash will straight-up kill Iron Bull when the two of them meet.

I have a morbid interest in seeing how it'll play off since most of the people of thedas hate the qunari, and that would even include the actual qun members since we aren't a part of the religion.  However, I find them as a people largely over rated, and like yourself I will probably play that race much later on then the others.
