. basically a lot of circumstantial evidence seems to point to him being an LI. Given a good enough lawyer and jury and it's enough to convict.

I think the evidence supporting Varric as a LI vastly outweighs the evidence against.
Absolutely, I'm probably thinking way too much about it but that one tumblr post by Gaider, has me absolutely convinced Varrics an LI now. "Which he may be" he didn't really have to say that and he knew it would give us hope. With the other LI's we just get "soon" or "were not ready to discuss it at this point." So, him saying that kinda stood out to me. As much as I joke about Gaider, he's not a bad guy. He has his fun with trolling sure but that's not what this was. But I may just be delusional at this point so.. 
@Bernbliss At the very least, it was talked about in the early stages of development. They did say "If it's something the fans really want, we'll see what we can do." So, let's just hope for the best.

To those of you who've planned a male-Quizzy to romance Varric, I have a question. If he ends up being straight would you be willing to roll out a female PC for him? Or are you just going to abandon the idea and go for someone else?
If Varric ends up being straight only, then yeah, I'll play a female to romance him. It'll bum me out a little, but I'm already planning on doing a female playthrough to romance Cullen, so it's not like one more is going to be too bad. It'll be worth it to romance him! But I really do hope he's a bi option, because for some reason, I hate playing as females. The only times I have ever willingly done it was in Origins to romance Alistair and in ME2 & 3 to romance Garrus.

Qunari kind of means two things in the DA universe.
As far as i have read "Kossith" isnt really correct either. It would be like calling people from Germany Visigoths. Its such an old term that it isnt really accurate anymore.
