I have several canon Warden's actually, Cousland is just the one I try out first because I like to checking in on her and seeing if she's run her country into the ground yet or not.

Ah, fair enough. Maybe canon isn't the word I'm looking for, exactly. Default or main would probably make more sense.

Still, there are a ton of King and Queen Couslands out there.

I had no idea Griffith was so into Dwarves.

Griffith likes rugged men, you should know that. ;)

Well I think human noble is the most popular Origin. Humans are the most played race after all...

Dwarf Noble for the WIN! RAWR!

Precisely, precisely.

I felt so much more invested in the Orzammar storyline with the Dwarf Noble origin.

A title is all well and good, but i prefer real power.

Thats why I'm always a blood mage... with the most ridiculous hat in the history of hats...

Aeducan is my favorite Origin but I've never felt like I succeeded in perfecting my Aeducan play through....so my three canons are Cousland, Amell and Brosca.

Dwarf Noble for the WIN! RAWR!

Dwarf Noble wins always.

Plus the best dwarves always involve nobles

Yeah, Aeducan is arguably the best written origin by a decent margin. S/he's also the only warden I don't have a canon playthrough for.

(Well, I don't have a Surana either. Still. *sigh*)

If he comes anywhere near my LI I'm going to go Berserk. He/she is not yours.

As much as I thoroughly enjoyed being my Lady Aeducan, I have to say my favorite (and cannon) play through was with my city elf. I really connected with the family aspect and coming back to the alienage and seeing everyone was such a good feeling. I was also so proud of the cousin Shianni and I appointed her as a official on the king's counsil.

But then my PS3 burned out and I lost the file. I'll just need to recreate it in the Keep.

it occurs to me that the companions don't call out to one another when they fall in combat in DAO like they do in 2.  Hopefully they'll do so in DAI.  I'd like to hear it specific to he approval.

I'd also like more things like the scale armor quest, where one has to keep working with the obliging NPC for the best payoff.  Also, to find the warden's sword, if Master Wade made it.

Morrigan:  Here, use this.  Be...very careful with it.  It belonged to someone very...dear to me.

I'm of the camp that believes that Morrigan is not as bad as she makes herself out to be.  I think that she knows how Flemeth extends her lifespan, that it isn't through body snatching, and the only time she was completely honest with the warden about such things was on the other side of the eluvian.  I think she honestly loves a warden who maxes out her approval.

P.S. I love how everyone panics a bit when Hawke is down, but when Avaline falls everyone freaks out.

I believe Varric says "Holy Mother of green cheeses, somebody took that woman down!!"

As I recall, some of them comment base on your LI.  I believe Anders gets really upset (so I read on the wiki or some such, it's difficult to pay attention in combat) if Hawke falls.

Also, it just occurred to me that maybe Varric is near the rift event because he's a high-ranking member of the merchant's guild, probably inheriting a position in the Tethras family since Bartrand is...indisposed.

That's not my tumblr. I'm just sharing fanart.

Here's an audio clip of Varric, Vivienne and Cassandra before what may seem to be a boss battle. (no spoilers)

http://fuckyeahvarri...t-to-the-ground

Varric: How do we force it to the ground?

Vivienne: I do not believe that will be the problem!

Cassandra: I will get its attention, Inquisitor! On your command!

Is that fan-made (like the banter thread) or taken from one of the vids?

Placement around the party camp is also interesting.  Someone once noted to me that Morrigan is the farthest away from the main group, with her own fire and her own tent, showing how independent she is, and how little she wants to be part of the group.  Shale is some distance away, without a tent, obviously, and Wynne distances herself as well.  Even Sten and Oghren come near.  After the shriek attack, (on this playthrough, Wynne stayed where she was, more or less, not sure if that's usual) everyone gathers close together.  Everyone is a bit jumpy after that, I suppose.

I dont know.

I think Morrigan is a good character. But i dont really think she is a good person.

To be perfectly honest, I want her to be the ultimate enemy in Inquisition. I think she would make a better villain then she would friend.

Doesn't sound fan-made. It might have been from the SDCC demo.
