Same, if Varric isn't an option then I want to throw all my love behind Solas, I've had a toe on the Solas train for a while now though, before I felt brave enough to throw in my lot with Varric lol.

Can you perhaps shed some light on why Solas is so popular? I just don't see it myself.

Of course, that was just Weekes' opinion. I imagine other devs might have different ones. I'm hoping Varric's (I'm optimistic, I'm hoping we'll be getting him   ) is up there too. Varric deserves an amazing romance arc too!

I don't really see it either, but I'm not a big fan of bald guys. So he's just not for me.

Yep, same for me. I'll probably do his romance last. But that's just off first impressions. I'm still torn 50/50 between Blackwall and Varric because of dat beard. But he just doesn't seem very likely.

Yeah, I was the same at first. But then I thought "if I could romance a Turian in ME, then there's no reason why I can't romance a bald elf in DAI". And everything we learn about him makes him more and more interesting.

For me personally, he seems pretty chilled and yes, mysterious..fascinating character.  He kinda matches a facet of my own personality, Nerdy Introvert lol.  It wasn't until he was revealed that my interest was piqued.  Plus he's written by Patrick and that's always a win!

Varric is my number one though, I'd swap them all for him.  I was just protecting myself from disappointment before Nat encouraged me to set up camp here.

Patrick is indeed a win... I guess we will just have to see, on the chance that Solas might be in the list, I'll have to see how much interaction gets me interested because right now... Yeah nothin' :/ lol

Everyone was so pessimistic about his chances when I came back here, I was avoiding getting my hopes up so I made a home in the Solas thread and got interested.  I would tentatively lurk this thread and one day Nat was expressing her disappoinment at the lack of Varric love and the rest is history.  After that the thread went nuts and hasn't stopped since lol.
