Hasn't Mary accidentally let slip some details she shouldn't have ? Not saying it's a bad thing, but they may not want her to active on the forums.

I've heard she has a history of accidentally leaking info, but I don't have anything solid on that.

Yeah, that could be it. I heard something about her spilling the beans, so they might be keeping her on lock-down. But it never hurts to ask right? You never know...the worse we'd get is a rejection.

Maybe she revealed he'd be returning as VA before anyone knew Varric would be in DAI? I don't really know the details on it, but it'd make sense (depending on when she leaked the info of course).
