Solas is fine in terms of looks and character but he hasn't exactly made me go wow.

 

His looks don't do much for me but his personality has me intrigued. I'm very interested in getting to know him in DA3, just not in THAT way.

Like Mordin and Wrex; not physically appealing to me but I'd try to possibly peruse a relationship knowing who they are via personality

Mordin and Wrex were both characters that got hotter the more I go to know them Some characters/people are just like that. Varric's like that in a way as well .

Can we tone down any negative discussion  complaining/grumbiling about Solas please? It would feel a little rude and petty, when the Solas thread is currently having a great time celebrating. We don't want to bring down their moods if the stop in here for a visit.

 

Let's talk about optimistic Varric thoughts, or speculate on how he'd react to Solas's relationship to the Inquisitor, or talk about what his relationship with Solas would be like (have we come up with a decent nickname for Solas?). 

 

EDIT: Alright complaining/grumbling is a very poor word choice. This was most a preemptive post because I know that it be very tempting to start complaining about a character you're not particularly interested in when good news released about them. I know this because I've fallen in that trap with Cullen myself. This post was not directed at anyone in particular .

I just caught up. So this is interesting. I'm happy for the Solassians, but let's not get carried away. There's still one slot left and we haven't had a proper confirmation from Bioware yet.

 

On a more happy note, this Q&A session has made me convinced that Indira Varma is voicing Vivienne. Which is great, I loved her in Rome and GoT!

Cheers, sorry, complaining was the wrong word to use Just didn't want to see a Solas vs. Varric debate happen. 

 

I'm a bit worried about Varric as well, but fingers crossed. We know there's racegating in this game, and out of all the companions, he seems like the most perfect candidate for such a measure. Makes me hopeful he'll be an LI, even if he's not available to everyone.

I don't know, but someone pointed out he was answering someone else not the question that was asked above, I don't use twitter I don't know how it works so I'm just trying to hope someone else figures it out so I can correct something i did if it was a fake.
