Remember, Gaider never said things were fair, and dwarf Inquisitor being racegated against IB and potentially another character does boost our chances considering the "two" rule.

I'm trying to do Silkie's idea with the firefighter Varric but it's difficult to get Varrics head to fit on it without looking weird. Plus, I got a little distracted... lol

Never heard that before I usually saw a lot of people saying that Solas would be gated from a dwarf PC because they can not connect to the fade. (A theory I myself do not care for really) but its the only one about him I've heard is that he wouldn't be available to a dwarf because some weird stuff of 'not being able to share his passion' Haven't seen much people toss a race gate on Cullen and I'd be fine if he had one he hasn't exactly ever caught my interest any way. Poor guy I can't even come up with anything for him for any of the joke Inquisitions either.

The thing is, my theory has always been Solas/bi  +  Varric/Straight/racegated and even though this supports my theory I'm still sitting here thinking "there's no chance anymore!", so so silly. I am happy for the peeps in the Solas thread though  

I'm actually kinda hoping they look at this at just think "What's the point in keeping one LI a secret now?" It seems a bit silly and it's only gonna cause frustration so here's hoping we get a reveal soon.

Shhhhhh it's alright. Yes they did, but I don't think they'd make two of the three racegated LI's racegated against dwarves without some compensation against the dwarves side. Racegating is much more interesting as a story element when if affects a wider variety of players.

I just keep thinking along the lines that IB was once race gated, and most probably almost definitely for dwarves, and there's good story reason for Cullen to be gated for dwarves and Qunari, which meant at one time, with a still gated IB, Solas as an LI for all and Varric an LI for dwarves (perhaps straight) dwarf Inquisitors would have had two LI options for straight female, and two as a gay male (if Varric is straight, three if he's bi). Of course making IB not race gated makes this three or even four depending on sexual preferences, but that was only recently and not planned.
I still have a lot of hope! But, I really do think with Solas semi confirmed/mostly confirmed, they could at least put the rest of us out of our misery now and just tell us who is an LI (they can keep race gating a 'mystery' if they want, I'd just like a yes or no for LI status!)

I like your line of thinking, I was considering something similar when we all thought IB was racegated. That he and IB would sort of "share" a slot and that IB would take the humans and qunari, and he's take the elves and dwarves.

Exactly! I'm thinking the same thing. Just reveal the damn info, people are freaking out as it is. Why not just have it done? 

 

When they reveal the info, then I'm going to freak out one way or another. But until then, I'm going to stay calm. There is no use in getting upset over this.
