Mystery is fine when it's plot related, but the romance stuff is basically for fan service and fun. I never understood why they'd keep it secret.
Anyway, things are starting to look grim for us. But the line most be held to the bitter end.
Really? I think things look better than ever for us actually but I can understand peoples concerns. And yes, we must hold the line!

Well, Solas's VA pretty much confirmed him as a LI and David G said that the two unrevealed LI's ( at least one of them) will not be the ones race-gated.
So, as you can see people are freaking out.

That would be actually very cool if an unromanced (or if not an LI at all) Varric could play wingman for your PC, I have a few PCs that could certainly use his suave help.

Well if you want to get really technical: we always had the same chances.No matter how much we speculate, the romances are already set in stone. So let's have a good time before the moment of truth.
And there is only one thing that's certain: We will have Varric as our best bro no matter what, and that is a very good thing!

Yupp. He got more or less tricked into giving an answer. So while he never stated that yes, you can romance the elf, he just said that they wouldn't be disappointed and should enjoy it.

Just to clarify though...I didn't mean we had less of a chance before because I agree, we've always had the same chances as the other LI's. I just feel after everything that's been said I can believe that just a little more. I've had my doubts for sure and yes, no matter what happens we'll still have our favorite dwarf, LI or no.
