Hmm pretty good, I'd be more flowery and say something like "It was definitely not our intention, but we see where we went wrong and we promise to be 100% less creepy in the future" but I don't think that'd fit with the char count, so yours is just about right.

Don't worry too much guys, I'm sure she would understand you meant no harm in it. It might not have even offended her. If she did see it she was probably just confused, to be honest. It's like looking at a weird inside joke you don't know about.

That's pretty much what it was. A conglomeration of lots of different thread in jokes, that, in hindsight, didn't go well together unless you were super knowledgeable about the thread.  

 

I can easily see why this would have looked like a good idea at the time, when it pretty much represented all the silliness we got up to in the thread, but I can definitely see why it'd be really weird for people who didn't understand what was going on.

Calm down, I'm sure she doesn't hate yall.  You made a mistake, it isn't the end of the world.  Just use a bit better judgement in the future.  Sometimes you need to make mistakes to learn.

The devs are used to it, most likely.   People can act silly when they're excited about stuff, and they happen to be the people we show our affections to about it... whether it be bizarrely or not.

I'm just as responsible for the tweet as you. We are in the same boat so don't feel too bad. I know I'm bummed but we meant no harm and we didn't hurt anyone. Better to make a mistake where nobody got hurt.

If any dev sees this I hope they understand that we certainly had no intention to make anyone feel uncomfortable. Gosh that's the last thing I'd ever want to do.
