Yeah I noticed that. Let's just say that I'm going to give Cole the highest of fives when I recruit him in Inquisition. ![]()

Sounds like me back in DA2
Every Time it ended up being Fenris despite me wanting to go other routes (Besides Anders, he's whiny, his message is incorrect propaganda and his face is ugh)
Yeah, I tend to stick with whoever I romance in my first playthrough and don't deviate from them often. I get really attached to them, so it kinda ruins me from doing any other romances in the game. <.<
I romanced Anders in DA2 but after that I changed my Hawke to male and left him forever alone. Don't get me wrong, I love Anders but it was too much drama for me & I guess I felt kinda betrayed at the end. But I'm weak and after seeing some vids of his romance with Hawke on youtube recently, I might end up with him again after all. ![]()
(okay, *deep breath* I'm gonna tread lightly here because I don't want to offend anyone and I know Fenris is well liked on this thread.)
Fenris was too....aggressive for me personally and as Varric described him a little "broody." ^.^' I don't generally go for those types, I can understand people who do but it's just not my cup of tea. Not to mention I was a mage as well, so that just didn't work out at all.
Merrill was too innocent and reminded me of my little sister, so that was a definite no.
Isabella was funny and I liked her but not like that.

I got a warning for speaking in the cole thread about what i'd like to do with that twisted little demon. (It involved hanging him by his entrails)
That said, I am not convinced Lambert is dead.
Many Characters have a habit of disappearing in Dragon Age, well bioware games period, and very often they turn up alive, if just not in an ideal situation.

You say that like it's a bad thing. ![]()

I felt the same way, it's all good. I'm not really one for aggressive relationships. I liked Fenris, he was my friend. But that, and his view on mages, would never let him become anything more to any of my characters.
You say that like it's a bad thing.
LOL. I felt weird enough with how seemingly innocent Alistair was, but Merrill was even moreso... I just couldn't. She was adorable and beautiful though, but she became like my sister... until she hated me for trying to stop her from getting possessed.

Even though I did like Lambert as a character (I did, brilliant antagonist), that would ****** me of. Because this is my opinion on his status (just swap parrot for Lord Seeker):
You say that like it's a bad thing.
No, there's nothing wrong with being innocent, Alistair was really innocent and I romanced the heck outta him. But Merrill was a little different, I don't know how to explain it. I just couldn't go through with it because it felt really creepy to me somehow.

I've never been there either for the same reason... I've done everyone else. oh wait Isabela was an accident, I had to reload...

LOL. I can appreciate an antagonist for being well written, but when it comes down to it, I usually prefer them dead. Whether the bad guys die by me or some other matter, I don't care but... I don't give second chances once you've made me mad enough. (sorry Loghain)
I don't get how people think Merrill is...innocent.
Staring a demon in the eye and accepting their deal is...like the exact opposite of innocent.

Really ? I think he seems pretty interesting, I plan to keep him in my party constantly. Sure he's pretty damn demented. But I think he's one of the more interesting companions we've had in a Dragon age game.

I saw it as she didn't have a clue as to what the hell she was doing... and I figured I was right, because

Me, too. I gravitate towards the most unique/intriguing characters. I know some people consider Cole a danger or threat, but that just makes me more interested. I want to know more about him. ![]()

He tried to kill Lambert o.o
So its pretty much, i will kill him if i am able to.

I don't think the dalish have the same black and white view of the fade that the Chantry have. But in the end she screwed up, and her keeper and/or clan paid for her mistake.

I'm just worried he'll get labeled as a broody/emo character by the general public. Granted he is rather broody. But he's also mentally unstable and never properly matured. I think it makes for an interesting combo. If I can listen to Anders preach about the plight of the mages and still love him. Think I can get over Cole being a little sad.

Your Inquisitor didn't read Asunder...![]()
Hey guys, what about that Varric?
He tried to kill Lambert o.o
So its pretty much, i will kill him if i am able to.
Eh, Lambert was kind of a tool. I don't think I'll be missing him much.

It really doesn't matter the Chantry or Dalish view of the subject, when both parties agree that it's stupid to deal with demons.
o-o Besides, she made that choice, her ignorance doesn't excuse her from it's gravity and impact. I wouldn't label her...that callow or apathetic but i would view her as...Stupid like Aveline put it.
Good morning (afternoon)! I see we are making romance lists- and I realized that I may be the only Varricmancer that isn't also interested in Iron Bull... Like, he's the last on my list, if I ever romance him at all (at this point, it could change)
1. Varric!!!
2. Sera
3. Solas
4. Cullen
5. Dorian
6. Josephine (she could move up, depending on her personality, I don't feel like I know enough about her yet)
7. Cassandra
8. Iron bull- maybe...
Aside from Iron Bull, our list is very similar.
And hey, that's okay, we all have different tastes. In fact, I'm quite surprised at seeing how many people are interested in him, I figured he'd be slightly unpopular due to his appearance, but it seems that hasn't deterred as many people as I thought it might.
Your Inquisitor didn't read Asunder...
Hey guys, what about that Varric?
No, But i did, and i will get retribution for myself! THE END OF EVIL!
Eh, Lambert was kind of a tool. I don't think I'll be missing him much.
Eh, Cole was kind of an Abomination; I don't think i'll be missing him much.
Oooh, we're making LI lists ? Neat, I wanna play.
1. Varric/Blackwall (I can't choose between them, I'm sorry
)
2. Iron Bull
3. Sera
4. Dorian
5. Cassandra
6. Josephine
7. Cullen
8. Solas
Varric Makes A Chart of His Friends' Relationships, I love this idea.
