Ironically enough, id bet an average dwarf warrior could probably lift a human, elf, or even qunari over his or her head.

 

When you have a lot of muscle packed in a small space, you can get some pretty amazing feats of strength.

I ave this Theory. Since there was Confirmation that all eight LIs would be from the Companions/Advisors and the "other" one would only be a flirt/fling option, I have a Feeling Varrics has reasonably Chances. Here's why:

 

See, varric said he wasn't into Humans. And we all know that Dwarf x Qunari could prove difficult to animate - so I imagine him being available to Elves and Dwarves. Complementary, I suspect Vivienne to be the other bisexual racegated Option. Solely because her Hat looks like Horns and I want her to be into Qunari.

No matter what  I am so going to play that game for hours and keep replaying it. Same with the first two dragon age games. Even though I've done everything possible, and know my saves won't import...I still play them haha

I suppose he is actually bisexual and not gated at all. Mostly because I could not imagine either Solas or Blackwall being the non-gated male bi Love Interest. They both look too old in my Opinion.

I would love for Iron bull to a non-gated bisexual romance, but I'm still kinda iffy if they're gonna let him romance dwarves or elves...

With the human thing, I never was able to take that 100% seriously.  It's a very easy to conversation to miss if you never romance Merrill and I've always suspected that Varric said that to spare Merrill.  If he had said, "Hawke, you're gorgeous," it very well could have hurt Merrill's feelings.  By him stating that he isn't into humans, that puts Merrill more at ease and she doesn't have to worry about competition from him.  

 

It also makes sense he'd say this around Merrill, since I think she's the only one that would be hurt by someone flirting with Hawke (not counting the DLC, where most of the LIs get angry if you flirt with Tallis).  Fenris, 'Bela and Anders probably wouldn't have cared if Varric found Hawke attractive, since they don't come off quite as insecure as Merrill does when it comes to relationships.  That's just my take on it anyway.

Honestly, apart from the animation difficulties, I would think no humans or elves for him. Since dwarves and qunari seem to be more "sturdy" so he wouldn't break them...

 

I'm not sure that I even want to romance Iron Bull, his personality doesn't seem that interesting to me. Granted, right now I'm distracted by Varric...

And he does call Hawke beautiful twice.

First in act one he said he was always willing to talk to beautiful women

The second he said she was beautiful and hangs out with fantastic dwarves
