Yes! And Blackwall could be either Gryffindor or Hufflepuff, but I'm leaning towards Gryffindor. As for the advisors, I think Cullen is a Gryffindor and Josephine is a Ravenclaw or Slytherin depending on how cold and calculating she is.

I love Sorting characters. I did DAI characters as well with full expectations I am gonna be so wrong on a lot of them.
Wow, there aren't that many Ravenclaw around. One per game, it seems. A good blend of Hufflepuff and Gryffindor, though. makes sense.

You know, I wonder if questions like that would be answered by the writers. "What Hogwarts House would ____ be in?" It's a fun one and it's benign enough!
Edit: As for my sorting, I've done it three times just to see if it differed. And yes, I in fact got a different answer each time! I've been sorted into Hufflepuff, Slytherin and Gryffindor. If I remember right, it was Hufflepuff the first time I did it so I guess that's what I am?

More data required. But, yeah, Dorian could be in Ravenclaw. He's in Gryffindor right now because his story reminds me a bit of Sirius Black's. (Let's hope it doesn't end similarly.)

Sirius has always been my favorite character since I was a kid and I was never sure why. I was SO sad at the way he went.
But yes, ahem, I think Varric would make a good Hufflepuff. Very loyal and brave but not the "rush in" bravery that Gryffindors have.

I agree with a lot of your options (So happy I wasn't the only one who suspected that Leliana might be Slytherine) but Jo sounds more like a Ravenclaw to me (she is Scribbles after all) and Anders, I think whoever said "Gryffindor both the good and the bad" has it pretty on the mark. His actions were those of a Gryffindor lead astray, not a Slytherine driven to extremes by his own ambition.
Here's my take on it.

Wow, so much sorting since I've been gone for just a little bit! xD I love it. I like the list where Alistair was sorted into Hufflepuff -- I pegged him as Gryffindor at first because he is very duty-centric, but his personality screams Hufflepuff to me so I was torn. I might make my own list for DA:I here, but it might not be fully accurate since we don't know as much about these new companions as we do the oldies ~
Here's what I would guess for DA:I so far:
Varric: loyal, helpful, friendly, charming -- Hufflepuff
Sera: very for the 'underdogs' (friends of red jenny), probably outspoken, humorous -- either Hufflepuff or Griffyindor, but since she seems more focused on helping people directly instead of the greater good, I'd say Hufflepuff
Iron Bull: He's hedonistic that's for sure, but I don't think he's particularly cunning or willing to hurt others for his own gain, so I say -- Gryffindor
Dorian: -- Ravenclaw or Slytherin... his necromancy and background gives me Slytherin vibes, though
Cullen: Leader type, takes action quickly -- Gryffindor
Cassandra: same as above -- Gryffindor
Solas: Introverted, mysterious, very clever in his area of expertise -- Ravenclaw
Josephine: She seems diplomatic and sweet -- Hufflepuff
Cole: His main priority seems to be to help those who need it -- Hufflepuff
Blackwall: Grey Warden, protector and seasoned fighter -- Gryffindor
Vivienne -- ambitious, manipulative, has her own goals and motives -- Slytherin

As I was saying about Varric, Dorian could very well be an example of the "good Slytherine" he sounds like he shares the personality traits that made me momentarily tempted to put Varric in that category, but he doesn't sound nearly as committed to the concept of loyalty, which is what ultimately put Varric into either Hufflepuff or Gryffindor.

I'm more leaning towards Dorian being like Sirius Black, the black sheep of a family with screwed up values. That's why I put him in Gryffindor. But in the end we need moar data. And I will keep Dorian away from suspicious veil tears...

True, lol. Dorian is a tough one to place right now because I don't really know much about his personality other than he's against the corruption of where he comes from (so he's probably a generally good guy) and he loves to look good.
