I agree on the "it's not over till it's over" stance. Speculation is amass and stuff can be taken out of context until official news comes out. That's why even though Solas's VA seemed to be giving an obvious hint, I'm keeping a healthy dose of doubt about it, and the same goes for Blackwall not being an LI based on those words.

My one saving consolation is that on the DA wiki the the romance options for actual companions seem to be forming a cross which Varric would complete. But I doubt that's going to influence the devs choices.
This tension is killing me.
What'd be worse is if he IS a romance, but is dwarf-locked, as I intend to Qunari/Elf first. I so, so hope that isn't what they do.

My one saving consolation is that on the DA wiki the the romance options for actual companions seem to be forming a cross which Varric would complete. But I doubt that's going to influence the devs choices.
This tension is killing me.

Well they have been kinda rearranging icons as the companion list updates. It doesn't seem to be in any particular order either.

Put that guy on the ignore list. From what I've seen of his posts so far, he just wants to stir things up, not in a good way.

They were making references to the movie Kinky Boots (which is fantastic!) So based on this tweet, people are wondering if Blackwall is asexual. Which would mean he'd be great for an asexual romance. Although I'm pretty sure asexual relationships aren't a romance option this time around, unfortunately.
But like I said, not over until it's over!
UGH, my mum and I are absolutely OBSESSED with Kinky Boots. Chiwetel Ejiofor makes a stunning drag queen.

I am torn, on one hand I would be so happy if Blackwall was an LI, but I would feel bad about being happy since you guys would be kinda screwed.

Based on the tweet people are thinking that he is not on the LI list and is perhaps asexual. However, Chee might have been joking. Nothing is confirmed.
