It did actually cross my mind (a few times, hah!) but yeah, I kept thinking it might be worse if I knew but couldn't say anything. I knew Josephine was Scribbles' name from London (I assume I can admit that now the info is out there anyway!) and that was hard enough, seeing people be frustrated and anxious and not being able to say anything about it. Now I don't read the Scribbles thread as much as the Varric thread (which I just love, all you guys are fantastic) so it would have been a form of torture not being able to say!

Has anyone noticed that in the 4 character threads there's always someone trying to tell everyone why their character won't be an LI ? It's so mean, I don't see the point in it. Let people be hopeful and stupid trying to tear everyone down to make yourself feel better.

I think they're going to release a lot of new info during Gamescom going by the tweets. So we need to hold on a bit longer.

I think if I knew but couldn't say anything I'd be a nervous wreck...I probably wouldn't even be able to look at the forums until the info was out lol. Yeah...neurotic would be an understatement...

I hope they tell us the name of your character soon!

Reassurance. I think fans should stick to listing reasons why they think their LI choice would be a good option instead of why others won't. At this point, each of the final 4 have a fair shot so there's no need to trample on the hopes of others.

Am I the only one that was confused by the wording on the combat video?  Didn't they say it was the first of a series...I guess maybe that was just hinting at the Q and A, but it seemed like they meant a series of videos about the game play.  Sad times...

See, this is kind of my point. Everyone has about the same chance of being an LI. So people going around telling everyone that their character has no chance doesn't make that persons character more likely. It just makes the guy seem like an ass.

Uhm, as far as I am concerned, haters should start a thread called WHY X SHOULD NOT BE AN LI and proceed to express their negative feelings there and not invade our optimism train.

This, actually someone should make a 'Who should not be an LI' thread so the complainers can discuss their opinions there. Because the character threads are for fans to talk and speculate about characters they like. Not for people to come in and say 'Herpderp Varric has no chance" or "Lol Blackwall is an old man no way"

That's an interesting idea, but threads like that tend to get locked pretty fast. 

 

On an unrelated note, thanks for posting that Adore Delano video earlier in this thread.  I love Adore, and I hadn't seen that one yet!
