Like a series of questions that introduces the user, and tells us a little bit about them.
The regulars (read oldtimers) could do it too, we could make a master post of introductions that the OP could easily link to... thoughts?

Also, can we try to remind newbies that this thread should stay positive as possible? Until we get a confirmation from the devs regarding his LI status, I don't really want people to rain on our parade just for the sake of it.

Ahh, it's slightly darker. He was pretty pale in DA2. I just like that now when he calls Anders 'Blondie' I don't have to go "Wait a diddly darn second here..."

I like these! Honestly, we should have a basic list and an extra list, like- put these first and the rest in spoilers, so that my everyone feels obligated to fill out a long list (even though the whole thing will be optional anyway, but you know what I mean)

Ach don't worry, sometimes I hang out in the Solas thread a lot, I love that dude, but Varric is just my number one...I mean, if Skyhold was on fire, and I could only rescue one companion...it'd be Varric (that would be a really harsh decision though wouldn't it?)

In the Sera thread, a *couple* people keep saying Sera has a square jaw and big nose (wtf, is her nose really that big?) So she looks like a dwarf, and apparently pointy ears aren't enough to be an elf, and I'm frustrated and confused. Not that it's an insult, I love dwarves... but it's dumb. 
Not all elves have to look the same.I'm glad they're bringing diversity into their looks. I mean c'mon, they're even saying "she has short hair." as a reason she looks dwarven. really?

Welp, I feel better now. 
I swear part of what pisses me off the most about this whole thing is they're using 'dwarf' as some kind of insult it seems as well.
To keep this on topic, I'm sure Varric would agree with us. "Sera and I don't really look very similar... care to elaborate?" bwahaha.
I'm sure Iron Bull disagrees with Sera being a Dwarf. He sees her not nearly as dense as Varric.
