I know!  They're just hopelessly brainwashed by the unattainable vision of female "beauty" imposed by society, clearly, they don't realise real women have diversely different facial structures... me?  I have a round face, go Sera!

But it's not even that. It's just lunacy at this point. Every time I see someone complain about Cassandras square jaw I want to ask them if they find this woman unattractive as well.

I picked it partly because it's a bad pic, but also because it shows of her jaw. I always find it cheating when you use billboard pictures or magazine covers.

There are tons of female celebrities with square jaws who are generally considered beautiful, Angelina Jolie comes to mind.  Linda Hamilton has a fantastically square jaw and played an absolute badass in Terminator, hello Cassandra.  People...people are silly.

As an alternative model (and it's sad that I have to be marked as "alternative") I have a bald head and I wear an 8 gauge septum piercing from time to time.

 

I often get told by people that I would look "prettier with long hair" or that I should lose weight (I'm 5'2" and 134lbs, which isn't THAT heavy) so I can do commercial work.

 

Frankly, I can't get commercial modelling work by default because I am already too short.

 

In the words of kooky, quirky drag queen Milk, "If I try to look like everyone else, I'd just be a sub par version of what everyone else is doing well."

 

People "think" I would be more successful with long straight black hair and a skinnier bod, but I'd just be another girl trying to look pretty.

 

GAH. It just sucks that people think that THEIR IDEA of what's pretty is the ONLY pretty. But why can't a girl be pretty regardless of hairdo, skin tone, nose size, eye colour, jawline etc??

Honestly, I think Cassandra and Jolie are especially attractive looking.

 

I do think Sera is conventionally attractive for the most part, some people are just overly critical. And sexist.

 

It's usually the straight men who are complaining that not every female love interest are perfectly sexy to them. Really goes to show the entitlement.
