I really wonder what kind of difference it might make if you import a game where the DR was refused... I wonder if she finds a way around it... or it's just retconned. xD;

I think they said that the OGB won't exist. But either way, it'll be fun to see what difference it makes.

Is it just me or does OGB sound like a rapper name?

I really didn't like the Virmire situation. I mean, there's one character I like and one I'm not very fond of so it's never a difficult decision in that respect, but even if I don't like a companion, having to sacrifice them just makes you feel so... horrible. :/ Was a very humbling moment in video game history for me.

I remember the first time I played that I tried to be clever ad go after Ashley after saying I'd go get Kadian very dumb attempt at trying to be smart, felt bad about it cause my Shepard was in a romance kind of with Kadian (I say kind of because the game was glitching out on me and had both available romances flagged as going on) Felt less bad when I saw Ash in ME3 yes I know shallow excuse is shallow but I couldn't stand to see her become a battle barbie plus the outfit and hair drove me up the wall. Though I feel even worse saving Ash since instead of a carrying Ash off scene I get Kaidan dying horribly one^^;

I wouldn't really like this in DAI I got a thing about wanting to keep everyone I can I hate losing people even if I don't use them that much plus I can really see Bioware picking the two that they think would bring them the most fan tears.

The second time I beat DA:O was as a mage where I had romance Alistair and made him king. Then I brought him to the top of Fort Drakon and he

Spoiler
I was so mad at him. I turned the game off when the white light started and redid the whole thing, leaving him down on the floor to lead the troops.

Did the exact same thing with a Dwarf noble ended up yelling and cussing at the screen for a long time, never bothered to re do that playthough I'm thinking of doing it but it just seems like a dumb move roleplaying wise to leave him on the ground but still if he's going to act like a moron then he isn't allowed on the big kid rides. ^^;

...Moron?

Its a super heroic moment. He is literally sacrificing himself to save the person he loves.

Yes it is. But if he's king then it's a pretty stupid move. I love Alistair, but he is a bit selfish. He only wants to be the hero or do his duty when it's on his own terms.

Im not sure i agree with that.

Certainly not after he basically told all of the Landsmeet that he is a Grey Warden first, and will only rule if he returns from the Blight alive.

Its all irrelevant to me anyway, i take Dark Ritual.

He was king and he knew that he had a country to take care of and him and I agreed it was for the best and ended the relationship then he throws himself on the blade so to speak for me? No thats being an idiot when before he was being rational there is no point in him dying when he is the damn king and I was more than willing to make the sacrifice. You may find it Heroic and thats fine, I just happen to find it idiotic.

To say that his sacrifice is idiotic is silly. For one, by even joining in the battle at all, there was always a very good chance that Ferelden would be without Alistair to take the throne anyway, so it's not like he's so super precious post-Blight that Ferelden would be doomed without him. Being a Grey Warden, his duty to combating the Blight supersedes that of his obligations to the throne post-war, so if he takes it upon himself to kill the archdemon, then he is fulfilling his purpose just fine, even if the Warden doesn't like it. There's also the fact that Anora would be a suitable ruler on her own, unless the Warden turns against her.

Sorry, I did not mean to cause an argument with my own opinion. If you find it heroic or noble that's fine, I don't I find it stupid and that's also fine. However this is getting super off topic. Here's a Varric pic to try and get it back on topic.

You don't get to choose suicide by archdemon as king, at that point your life belongs to the people. But let's just agree to disagree, this is hardly on topic.

I have faith in Bioware, I doubt they'll pull an Anders with Varric. Though, Varric being possessed by a desire demon would explain why he is so irresistible...

I don't think they'll do that either I only posted it because I do understand feeling worried about it very worried but I highly doubt that they'll pull an Anders. Please Varric is already so desirable the desire demons flock to him but he doesn't need their help to make everyone want him.  :lol:

Hey Ajna~

Also, Semi-Confirmed rumor, Varric's chest hair is the product of a deal with a desire demon. That's why we're all so enthralled by it. ;P
