Actually, he showed up another time to talk about Varric in the DAI game he was playing. So it wasn't all dev gloom.

I can totally see a slightly more solemn Varric this time around, but an overly violent Varric would make me upset. Not that I  think it'd ever happen. 8D There's a reason aggressive Hawke options are the only way to ****** him off.

Not much different, honestly. He doesn't really treat you like an enemy, he just jokes about how he doesn't always agree with you. It pretty much is impossible for him to hate your guts. xD But he does speak up when you make particularly cruel choices on stuff.

Not much different, honestly. He doesn't really treat you like an enemy, he just jokes about how he doesn't always agree with you. It pretty much is impossible for him to hate your guts. xD But he does speak up when you make particularly cruel choices on stuff.

Yeah, he's kinda like that friend who picks at you when you're being an ass and calls you out on your nonsense, but is still incredibly laid back.

 

I'm honestly very interested to see how Varric will act in Inquisition or what choices/actions might actually get him properly mad. (And I will do everything in my player power NOT to tick him off just the same.)

With any luck they'll at least announce one of the LI's. If they announce Viv I assume we're screwed. If they announce Solas we might have a shot.

Hopefully they'll take pity on someone who's not Solas since he's all but officially confirmed. Might as well save him for last. Or they may just announce him to get it out of the way and keep us on edge.

I just want them to announce him so I can watch the amazing celebration we're gonna have. It'll be rather spectacular.
