That would be my most desired outcome, as well... but I'm trying not to be selfish. Just give me Varric and I'll be happy, guys! xD

To be honest, they could get up on stage at Gamescon and say 'good news, everyone! We decided to scrap all the seven other romance options in favour of ALL VARRIC ALL THE TIME!' and I would still be pretty happy.

 

(I mean, I would feel bad for people who don't want to romance Varric and would prefer someone else, and a little sad that my Inquisitors could no longer #ridethebull, but I would probably still be breaking out the booze and streamers.)

I told F***YeahCullen that I'd film a celebratory Rocky-montage video if they announce Varric as a love interest. XD

Provided he's an LI, are you guys at all worried about a specific PC combo not being possible? I only have elven spots at the moment - if Varric is gated against them I'd have to shift my ideas around.

I'm planning to play a female dwarf first come hell or high water, so his being race-gated is unlikely to make any difference to my plans. (If Varric is a romance and not available to dwarf women, I will find a way to teleport to Thedas, steal Cole's hat, and eat it.)

Absolutely. I really want to be able to romance him as a female qunari but I have a strong feeling that if he's gated at all it will be against...qunari. But I'll take what I can get with Varric.

I'm doing my best to wait until we get some confirmation before I start planning an Inquizzy for a Varricmance, but I've been hoping that I could romance him with an elf. (Maybe eventually a human since I headcanon shipped him with my Hawke so hard.) If he ends up being gated and can only be romanced with a dwarf then it won't make me sad at all regardless. A Varricmance is a Varricmance.

My biggest wish would for him to be not gated at all, but I can easily work around that stuff and just make a different character. My first character will either be an elf or qunari mage right now (I just want to do a mage first for some reason, which is really weird for me), but when Varric is revealed an LI it may change.

Hello gentle viewers, and welcome to another post of wild speculation by Toothless!

 

Today's topic: OMG, if Allegra Clark mentioned how she would romance someone the other day that would be *spoilers,* which we took to mean one of the last two unannounced LI, then today we know that that person is probably romanceable by elves... sooooo its possibly Varric and romangeable by elves... Ok, this seems less important as I type but its too late, I've already done it!
