My first playthrough is very non-negotiable in terms of gender, race and class (I feel like I just have to continue my DA tradition) but everything else is up in the air.

I'm going to play a dwarf because it's a DWARF! I love the dwarves and once I heard that we could play as them again my original planned  playthrough essentially was like "Hey...what about me..? You said for the first time you'd play a mage first"

To be honest, they could get up on stage at Gamescon and say 'good news, everyone! We decided to scrap all the seven other romance options in favour of ALL VARRIC ALL THE TIME!' and I would still be pretty happy.

 

(I mean, I would feel bad for people who don't want to romance Varric and would prefer someone else, and a little sad that my Inquisitors could no longer #ridethebull, but I would probably still be breaking out the booze and streamers.)

I've been waitin' since before DA2. I can wait a few more months. But only a few more months, after that I cant be held responsible for what happens.

This will be my first time playing as a mage first... unless Varric ends up convincing me otherwise.  I do plan a very sassy rogue femdwarf in the future no matter what, though. Probably for my 2nd playthrough. Human will most likely be last for me.

As much as I want Varric, I don't want ALL the other romance scrapped just so I could have him. That wouldn't be me.

 

BUT, I am....I am willing to sacrifice my ..--takes a deep breath- ...My chance to have my human mage Lesbian Power couple with Vivienne -nearly faints-

 

That hurts a bit...Because it's my dream and I think Vivienne is gorgeous...

But Varric is my bigger dream and perfect

In my perfect world because then EVERYONE I originally wanted to romance is an option....

 

(I say originally because now I would like a Solas romance, but originally I was all for Sera, Cassandra, Varric, and Vivienne only ...then my interest differed. I count Cass even though she's straight because I didn't  think she would be bi sadly. Wanted her to be, but didn't think she would be. )

Today's topic: OMG, if Allegra Clark mentioned how she would romance someone the other day that would be *spoilers,* which we took to mean one of the last two unannounced LI, then today we know that that person is probably romanceable by elves... sooooo its possibly Varric and romangeable by elves... Ok, this seems less important as I type but its too late, I've already done it!

Didn't they say that there was 41 different endings? Lol with your 87 play throughs looks like you'll play all the endings twice over.

I think Dorian sounds awesome as a character but haven't had that interest to romance him yet with the others (All the other L.I's i will so far romance at least once. ) I haven't decided for Dorian yet...

I feel your pain. I'm from very excited to mildly interested about 5 out of the 6 confirmed LIs. And for a couple it's clear I'll need more than one go. And there are two more announcements. I'm gonna grow old playing this game, I guess? xD
