Considering that the game continues after the epilogue, it is doubtful that the Inquisitor will die. Unless...

Unless they pull a Red Dead Redemption on us and have the game continue with a different protagonist. I highly doubt it though. RDR got a lot of flack for that.

 

I actually kind of liked that ending. It was kind of heartbreaking considering it was so against what John had worked for most of the game, but... It fit within the game itself.

 

And have they actually said that it really continues, or is it like some games where, after the epilogue, they kind of go back to before the big boss fight that way you can finish all the quests that you missed and all?

Okay no idea why this went all wonky side ways on me, and can't seem to fix it sorry

 

• Just a few ones with my Tabatha Cadash that I thought were interesting.
   
         Tabatha is under a terrible curse. Varric knows how to cure it.
  • Tabatha saved Varric's life.Varric is honorbound to return the favor.
    Varric and Tabatha wearing each other's clothes (considering Tabatha is a big fan of frilly, lacy, silky gowns I was laughing very hard)

    • Varric and Tabatha watching the sunset.
      Tabatha and Varric going to an event that requires formal attire.
      Varric has offended Tabatha in some way but doesn't realize it. (also got the reverse of this right after too)
    • Varric and Tabatha taking care of a bunch of orphan puppies and/or kittens.

    • Tabatha and Varric are reincarnated lovers, but aren't initially compatable to each other
