Wow. That's, like, potentially five days worth of new stuff....  or, more likely, two days with some new stuff and three of repeating everything we know already i.e. Vivienne

Perhaps some of it will be handled by the rogue german marketing department and someone will let the last 2 LIs slip .

If the last 2 aren't revealed the marketing team is just mean.

With all of the others revealed, I don't really see the point in keeping the last two a secret until the end. I know revealing LI's isn't near the top of their list of important things as some of the devs have stated before, but it would be nice just to get the question answered since it's going to be one of the most asked ones until they finally do.

I agree, though people should be prepared for this to be the case.

exactly. if they hadn't announced any of them at all I would say then that was the marketing team perogative to maintain some kind of "mystery" about it. but six of the eight have already been revealed, with only 2 left it's just kind of dumb to leave us hanging.

And really? Religious discussion? That's surprising. If it's not about the Qun, Chantry, Stone, Old Gods or the Creators, I don't much want to talk about it. Not on BSN.

*hugs* aw thanks.   It's all good now, just unintentionally got involved in a discussion about Iron Bull leaving the Qun for a romanced Inquisitor that ended up being a little more heated than I thought it would. xD And those kinds of debates aren't my thing. Now I'm posting fanart in there, to hopefully change the subject.   Because I am sneaky, as a ninja in Varric's Angel's should be.

I read it. It's not your fault, and I thought you had some good points! I suppose some people are just very sensitive when it comes to things like religion, even if it's a fictional characters fictional religion in a fictional world... And I like your method for changing the subject, very classy!

I see a lot of activity not in just this thread but most of the others has simmered down. D: We're like a fire that feeds on info around here haha

I think the fan art helped a little in there it was getting kind of heated but adorableness and awesomeness almost always defuses those kinds of things so I wouldn't worry about it too much Chernaya.

Probably wise, those discussions never lead to anything good! I don't get the need to turn these discussions personal, but that's most likely my own personal opinions and (lack of) beliefs making me biased. It is an interesting subject, and I wish we could discuss it in a less confrontational and personal manner. 

 

It's the calm before the storm. I'm sure the forums back to it's regular pace after Gamescom.

I swear there are people on these forums that actually follow the Qun themselves..lots of devout Andrastians too...

It's ridiculous. It's one thing to rp a character like that, or to defend a belief system in fandom discussions. But when you go all personal and behave as if an attack on a fictional(!) religion/belief is an attack on your real life beliefs, then we have a problem. I've got no problem arguing for mage freedom, but I can see where the pro-templars are coming from and empathize. I'm not going to act as if they want to lock me up in a cage or exterminate me personally.

There are those that rreeaaalllyyy vigorously defend their stance of choice on a particular issue with almost fanatical zeal.  It's pretty weird, really.

Come to think of it, it's no surprise that a lot of the posters in this thread find that kind of behavior weird. I'm pretty sure Varric would agree with us. I really really hope they haven't turned him into an anti-qunari zealot. I can see him not liking the qun, and not trusting Iron Bull because of it. But I can't see him turning into a new Fenris.

I should hope not! No offence to Fenris of course . I think they're trying not to make 1 note characters this time. With Fenris and Anders combined it was a bit overkill, I understood that they felt strongly about what they believed in but all it did was give me a headache! It was just too much. If Varric has developed issues about the qun, like you said, I can't see him being the "anti-qunari" one. He'll voice his concerns about having a team mate that still sends reports to the qun I'm sure but that's an understandable complaint.
