I really don't think Solas would be gated. Otherwise they gave us the complete wrong impression with all the focus on him not being judgmental. And I really hope Sera is not gated against humans. 

I hope Sera's not gated either. She's my most anticipated LI that has been announced (Josie is a close second though). And while the "main" play through I have is with a white haired elf mage named Ashiyana for Sera, I probably will play a human rogue to romance her second, because I think it'd be cute.

 

I don't want her to be gated and personally, I don't think she's one of the most likely since she's a Lesbian and I see people taking issue if she was gated too. Not that I would have a problem or complain, even if I don't want her to be but I feel that's how it would turn out if she was.

Yeah, my plan for Sera has been a human ever since I heard she hates nature, since the elven Inquisitors are Dalish. Not that you can't play a Dalish who likes cities or go for the drama, but I don't think I'll go for that.

Same here, but then i really wasn't overly interested in that race, i might make a character just to experiment with it, but i was going to focus mainly on the dwarves and humans.

My case is odder: my favorite race to play is elf, but aside from my first elf, the other ones are pretty lonely at the moment while I have LIs in mind for my PC ideas of other races.

I want to play every race at least once. So now I'm forcing myself to think of something.

 

I think I'll scrap one of my current mage characters and make a mage qunari...probably one with a white haired bob cut because I think it'd look AWESOME with the horns.

 

If I make a Qunari, I want her personality to be diplomatic, peaceful...maybe even timid ...Yeah 8D

The number of Inquisitors I've got planned is freaking ridiculous. I've got nine solid ideas and another half-dozen I'm still playing around with. On the plus side, not like I have to worry about missing someone's romance path - no matter how gated they are I've pretty much got them covered.

Actually, I think we know that's not true at this point. David Gaider explicitly said that one of the race-gated characters has already been announced, Josephine and Iron Bull aren't gated, and the other four options are straight/gay/lesbian. So we know one of the characters is gated for both gender and race.

David Gaider has said no such thing. He addressed that people were saying he said that the last two are the gated ones by saying he never said that. Then someone says that means one of the announced is gated and he said he never said that either, and actually got a little mad that people were putting words in his mouth.

I have about 6 concepts for future PCs but only 3 of them set in stone right now though I am getting a few more in my head but I won't know just how many I'll have since I have no idea if I can even play the ones I do have in mind the way I want yet.  I'm pretty sure I won't get to put anything frilly on my PCs so my Tabatha dwarf is iffy already and even more so since any of the LIs I have in mind for her I'm not sure I'll get and really only two of them may be compatible maybe. I wonder if we can go to taverns and just drink in DAI? Even if it doesn't amount to anything I would like to try and stick by my concept for my other dwarf and have her going out drinking before big meetings and such, she doesn't handle diplomacy well. Annnnd now I've got an idea into my head that would be cool but would never happen. Oh well maybe another time.

That's how my Qunari mage will be, too! I was thinking I wanted to show a different side to the horned race that wasn't aggressive, but empathetic. Because it exists, but we haven't gotten to really see it much. Sten was pretty stoic even though he ended up being kind if you befriended him. Iron Bull will hopefully be really nice as well, but it's pretty established already that he loves his violence. xD
