The more I think about my other dwarf PC, Kalani....I kind of see her as one of my "forever alone" characters. Maybe I'll have her be committed to having a big family in her companions. But, that's my second rogue.

Out of curiosity, why? 

 

Hmm, we don't have much info on her but that said, nothing we know about her has caught my interest. She seems a bit bland and a little like Leliana in Origins. It doesn't help that I don't find her attractive. She does sound competent so hopefully I'll change my mind once we see her in action.

That's how my Qunari mage will be, too! I was thinking I wanted to show a different side to the horned race that wasn't aggressive, but empathetic. Because it exists, but we haven't gotten to really see it much. Sten was pretty stoic even though he ended up being kind if you befriended him. Iron Bull will hopefully be really nice as well, but it's pretty established already that he loves his violence. xD

My Qunari mage (I've decided I'll make her just need a name) is going to be like "Make sandwiches, not war" because I for some reason imagine her with a Grey Warden appetite.

I just realized something I have a lot of characters that are going to be some sort of romantic one way or the other, odd cause I'm not much of one myself. I wonder if we'll get an option to have our PCs react nervously or bashfully to the LI of our choice? I would love that x3

I have a TON of ideas but only the race, class, gender and LI for my first playthrough are decided. Well, decided as in provided I don't end up hating the LI. I've been wrong about characters before.

Yeah. Though it's really nice when you think you'll dislike a character and bam, they're awesome.

Then again sometimes you like the idea of a character and then the character himself lives up to the ideal.

 

Namely the Illusive man from mass effect 2.

 

Bioware hyped him a bit and he lived up to it!

I'm trying to be positive in general, which about DAI includes not making firm plans for unconfirmed LIs... I don't really have a back up plan... Maybe Cassandra? Iron Bull? Here's to hoping Dorian won't disappoint me.

Oh, I'm thinking Dorian will be awesome. My first ever fully played male PC is reserved for him.

Hehehe I kind of relate to that I have at least three people in mind for one of my PCs but I've got a feeling that she'll end up forever alone anyway due to either them not being an LI or them being gated against her

I'm surprised I haven't been making more but I still have my three dwarfs, two qunari and one elf in mind. Oddly enough though I've noticed that as much as I like to make a character for every LI just to try out the romance I have had no desire to make any for Cullen or Cassandra hmm very strange.

Those two are on the bottom of my list as well. Not that I dislike them, I'm just kinda apathetic towards Cullen and romancing Cass would require making a male PC, and I'm way more interested in Dorian for that one.

Lol I always feel so odd in these conversations. I really have no idea what Quizzy/LI combo I'll play through until I get through the first one with my female Cadash and Varric pairing

I'm certain I will have many play throughs, I just haven't decided yet.

Oh I'm sure you aren't the only one, I've seen many people saying they enjoy playing both genders. I honestly don't know why but I just really like playing females. x3 Probably because if I have the option to do so, I grab onto it since it's rare in most games besides RPG's where you can create your own character.

No no, don't worry about it, I don't mind that people call her Cass at all. I just find it odd when characters share my name or really close to it. Please call her whatever you want it doesn't bother me at all, I just may not romance her because of the nick name if its used in game thats all

I know the feeling. I had my characters all set - and I already had way too many - and then someone linked me to the chibi maker.
