I used it to make Anri Adaar

she's lovely. I was just sad about the lack of outfits on that dress up

Yeah, It's more about the facial features but I'm still having a ton of fun. Haha
Hmm. Went ahead and did Mythos for a start.
The lack of weapons and armor is throwing me a bit, and I'm a bit disappointed that none of the tattoos look kind of Dalish. I might need some time to adjust to the new game, this seems like it'd be better for Inquisitors in casual clothes rather than armor.
Edit: Oh, NOW I find the weapons.
How do I save?

Click the camera button on the bottom of the game, next to the music note.
Oh this was fun
I give you Cecilia Trevelyan.

Thanks.
-cough- I didn't even know there were weapons.

They're in the Back Accessories. Somehow I didn't think that was worth checking.
I went back and changed out the photo, if everyone desperately needs to see the generic sword Mythos is wearing.

Didn't see any that looked magey, so I gave her a book instead. I'm going to have to bookmark these for later use when the game comes out and I know what I want to do more than "really pale qunari mage."
Must....stop...self.
I did another one!
This is Astrid Cadash. And she will be Varric's waifu, LI status be damned!
Is it suppose to take a really long time after you hit the camera button? Cause this is going at a snails pace for me and I'd really like to show off my Atiya Adaar dressed up nice and fancy for the ball ![]()
Hrmpf. I would like these Things if there were appropiately manly facial Structures. if I try and make a Qunari out of these I just think "yeah, he is twelve Years old. Maximally."

Astrid is one of my favorite names
and she looks great!
Welp, I tried making Vitani with it:
I would be awesome if they had curly or wavy hair choices in the CC. >.> I hope they do.

It seems to take about thirty seconds for me. You having to wait longer than that?

It's kind of the nature of chibis to be softer around the edges, yeah. Definitely not for everyone.

There's more detail in these, which is nice, but I feel like the other chibimaker had a wider range of options. I got frustrated with Mythos and gave him a random haircut because there aren't any short, controlled hairstyles available.
And putting in Ash Adaar again.
Yeah, not terrible, but not quite what I was aiming for either. Ah, well.
I had to wait a long time to even get the picture to say it saved and now i can't use it at all. I have no idea why. This is very annoying.
I'm really hoping for longer hair options when we make our actual quiizies in DAI. Or like braids or something... What do you think is the likelihood of that?
We got slightly longer hair in DA2 with something like Aveline's ponytail.
If they can do hair like Aveline and Isabela, I don't see why they can't give us some longer hair choices for our own characters. ![]()

You could try print screening it maybe?

DA:O did have shoulder length hair for female characters, if I'm remembering correctly. Bella from Redcliffe had it. So I'm cautiously optimistic we'll get something at least that length, though I'm not sure if we can expect longer. On the other hand, if the new engine has trouble with hair they might go without.
I've gotten so used to Ash having long hair at this point, it'll be disappointing if male characters can't wear it at least a little long.
I think the problem I've seen them talk abut in the hair thread in here is that, while the faces and bodies are getting much more realistic, they still have trouble with making hair realistic (it takes up tons of resources/memory), so if they tried longer hair, it would look weird how stiff and unnatural it looked in comparison to the much more realistic faces are this time (as opposed to DA2's faces)... but yeah, I'm really hoping for at least shoulder length. D: I have nothing against short hair and actually enjoy it, but it would be nice to have the option for variety's sake.

Agree with all of this. I hope they'll at least give the option in character creation, even if they don't want to use the longer hair for any of the NPCs. On the other hand, if it does look unnatural they might worry people will like it at first but get sick of looking at it. Hard to say what they'll do.
