When it comes to Hawke appearing in Inquisition, my sole request/conditions/demands to Bioware are;

 

1. Hawke does not die.

2. Frostbite is able to do justice to Male Hawke's epic beard.

 

Aside from that, I shall leave the ball entirely in their court...

That's pretty much Selena right there.

She'll get a letter saying they need the champion... If it's not from her friends she'll look at Bela and. Go "sure, we'll help" snicker and they'll go farther away from the problems

My character, Donovan, was a manipulative jerk. Only people he cared about got to see his true colors (being an a$$). Thus his family, Aveline, Varric, and Merrill were all exposed to his jerkiness (and were all on the rivalry path) lol
He ended up not helping Aveline with Donnic; sleeping with everyone and ending up with Merrill; stabbing Anders; returning Fenris to Danrius; and handing Isabela over to the Arishok.
He was hard to play (emotionally) for me.

 

Props to you for soldiering through it. I've always wanted to play Aggro/Renegade Hawke but let's face it, it's never going to happen. The second I say something to hurt an NPC's feelings I'll be rushing to reload a previous save file. >.> I'm a total sucker for "The Puppy Eyes," which all characters seem to have. Alistair had by far the worst case of this I've encountered and man, did he know how to use em' to get what he wanted.

I know, I just made a jerk character who used people and threw them away when he felt they no longer suited his needs. I played him as manipulative but also he had low self-confidence (saw himself as physically weak but didn't share that with anyone)

Isabela lost her value to him the second she came back with the book.
Fenris, to him, lost his value earlier (used him in the Deep Roads) but he didn't get rid of him because he was intimidated by Fenris. Danarius was the perfect way to get rid of him as far as Donovan was concerned.
Anders just freaked him out and thought he'd kill him. Then, well we all know what happened there.

So are mine but the ones who aren't with her I always thought of as dead. Six feet under, pushing up daisies, sleeping with the fishes, etc. The ones with Isabela though are having some high seas fun.

I try to make a jerk-face character once every game... but I can never make it all the way through. I even try to help myself by making them as ugly as possible, so I can garner some amusement from it, but I always just end up cringing. XD

My Hawke also set sail with Isabela (because forever alone). I don't really mind what they do with her in DA:I. I don't have as much investment in her as in my Warden. xP

I do it out of morbid curiosity. The devs made to effort to put that content in the game, I owe it to them to explore it. (totally making excuses )

I think the only character I've made any of my Hawkes act like a total jackass to was Anders and that was mostly by accident so I had to change how that Hawke was in my head from someone who loved him but didn't like the way he went about things to someone using him for her amusement, made me feel icky all over it did.
