Can I ask why? I'm not trying to argue or anything, I'm just genuinely curious.


I saw that too, his hair keeps getting darker! Wasn't it like reddish/brown not too long ago? *sigh* I really miss his blonde hair from DA2....

Maybe he's going through a goth phase.

I also thought since giant spider are the product of magic runoff that they may have some magic or anti magic perks.

It's fine, well it basically came down to seeing that all of the traits that i had associated with him that humanized him were false.

 

He didn't take in Alistair out of the goodness of his heart, he did it because he made a promise, He lost a lot of the connection with that.

 

Beyond that, just learning how he joined the Wardens was a bit off putting.

I have three I consider Canon. But two of them are my dwarfs and one is Mahariel.

I'm going to import them all of course (all the play throughs I've done eventually ) but my main concern are this three.

 

I only have three as well,( because that's how many times I played Origins) though I'd like to narrow it down to just two: one female and one male warden. Like I said, i'm still trying to decide which origin to make canon for my F!Warden. These are the ones I have:

 

1. Eillia Cousland/Warrior/Romanced Alistair/Dark Ritual performed

2. Jaime Cousland/Warrior/Romanced Morrigan/ Dark Ritual performed

3. Eleana Amell/Mage/Romanced Alistair/ Dark Ritual performed
 

I love dwarves but I've never played as one before! I plan on my canon Inquisitor being a dwarf though and that'll also be my first playthrough. _{I just need them to confirm Varric as an LI and I'm all set.}

I actually only made Myrianni maybe two months ago but I loved her character so I kept her as canon.
But I also have Raine Surana with Leliana
Eselde Tabris with Alistair too that I will eventually import.

Did you know Thane was originally supposed to have earrings but they forgot about them when they finished his 3D model? I hope they haven't forgotten about Varric's!

Yeah, earrings wouldn't really have gone with Thanes character imo. I'm glad they got left out, but I hope they don't forget about Varrics! He just doesn't look right without them..

 

Ooh, his hair also looks lighter in this screenshot. I hope they keep it that way, I'm not a huge fan of the black looking hair he had in the trailer.

Well technically they didn't! When you bought the DLC alternative outfit packs for your squad mates, Thane's came with the earrings they intended to put in!

Well, it's that or not having the ability to romance him. They made it clear in DA2 were he stands and that was before they knew he would be playable in the next game. I think it would irritate me more if they changed him just to make him an LI for everybody.
