I wonder what that says about his feelings for Bianca? (That is, if it indicates anything at all.) In DA2 you couldn't equip him with anything else but the crossbow if I remember correctly.

The only way we'd know for sure is if it was a rogue instead of a warrior. The fact that we can even unequip her shows he's not as attached as he was.

That's what I'm thinking as well...I think this might support our chances of having him as an LI. Alot of the arguments I see about him not being a romance option is "But Bianca tho." Being that he was so attached to the crossbow in DA2 that he refused to use anything else, letting him wield daggers instead is kind of a big thing. If that symbolizes him finally letting go, then what's to stop him from moving on with our Inquisitor?

Well that was a disturbing little clip.

 

I'm still wondering how much she'd go for though unless we have s storage chest she won't be around long when a better weapon comes. Unless Varric will only switch to daggers and I can't have him use a better bow because Bianca is the only bow he'll wield. 

 

Does anyone know if he'll switch bows too or just switch from Bianca to daggers?

I wonder if we'd get an Aveline comment with that they're annoyed we sold her (though my Aveline was bugged, she got mad despite me never selling that blasted shield).

 

I wouldn't sell her. It'd be great if Varric had gotten over her whenever that was but it's still his crossbow. It's even on his card.

It is surprising that Bianca can be unequipped now. I remember hearing about that awhile back. I do think it must mean something, since Varric is now willing to use other weapons. I don't wanna read too far into it now, but I like the hint that he's not so obsessed with the thought of Bianca anymore.

Dang I was going through my screenshots and realized I didn't make any of my original Hawke in DA2. Kinda sucks, having to do it from memory. I know she was brown with deep red hair so I'll focus on that.

I lost all of my Origins and DA2 screenshots when my computer crashed. (and my files)   Luckily I also play on console, but some of my favorite characters were my PC played ones...

No other bows- just daggers- they said it in a couple of interviews
