So I remember reading that originally Varric was a shady, untrustworthy character. Now these conversations are making me wonder if his personality was fake (he is a pathological liar after all, or so he claims) and now they're going to start pulling him in with his original colors. O_O
I'm totally over-thinking, by the way. Super wild speculation. lol Currently I'm working on my stories characters and they lead me to weird places... like the one I mentioned lol

My heart broke so much with the DA2 announcements that I've been spending more time in other threads to avoid getting too attached to Varric again. Queen Aimo summed up my heartbreak from back then quite nicely:

I don't think Varric would toss the red lyrium, mostly becuase it was in Bianca, but also because he seemed pretty attached to it just looking at the damn thing.

me.-they aren't that hard to find just look for the biggest, nearest trouble and they will be there as trouble tends to follow them.
