Ophelia Adaar
What colour best represents them? Turquoise, friendly but idealistic
If they were an animal, which would they be? A Heron, resourceful but with a vicious independent streak.
Which music genre would best describe your inquisitor? Rock or Metal.
Which season reflects their personality best? I'm torn between Summer and Autumn.
If your Inquisitor was a force of nature, which would they be? A Hurricane, she can be quite unpredictable at times.
What's their alignment? Neutral, she does what she feel is the right course of action at the time.
What element best describes them? Fire, power and passion
What scent would the be associated with, if any? I don't know, probably something spicy like cinnamon or sweet like coconut.
Do they have a background story?
Yes, both parents fled after the Qun gained power in their homeland and it turned out to be a wise decision after both their children developed magic abilities, while her parents did not quite understand magic, due to neither of them being a mage, they understood that their children needed training and sought out a tutor. Unfortunately despite this, the constant travel of Apostate life and two mage children proved too much for her mother and she disappeared after her son turned 13 and Ophelia's father(Lucas) died during the Blight, which left her to be raised by her older brother for the remainder of her childhood.
Ophelia has quite the independent streak as she is not used to relying on anyone apart from her brother, which makes her distrustful of strangers and she has a tendency to keep people at arms length, however once you get to know her you will discover that she is a kind, caring individual with a sarcastic sense of humour and a talent for mischief.
Do they have any family? Yes, a brother called Alexander and a mother(Amalia), somewhere in Thedas.
Are they better with children, animals or neither? She's good with both but will deny being any good with children and will say she prefers animals as they are uncomplicated, although she has a sweet spot for both.
What's the Inquisitor's favourite food? Anything spicy and she loves fish.
Can they cook? Yes, she loves it and finds it relaxing, she also loves experimenting with food and much to her companions frustration, gets them to try her concoctions- and I say concoctions because she doesn't always get it right.
Do they have hobbies? Yes, reading, music and causing trouble with Varric, Cole and Iron Bull.
Are they very fashion conscious or more practical? Ophelia is more practical with her clothes etc., mainly as she doesn't get fashion even though she tries.- when a ball comes round she begs Vivienne for help.
Are they neat or unorganized? It's more organized chaos, than anything else.-she's working on it
Who do you think they’ll get along with best among their companions, if any? Varric, though it may be a rough start, Cole, she sees him as the kid brother she never had, Iron Bull because Mayhem is fun and she finds him interesting and Cullen, him being a Templar is a cause of tension but she believes that he is a genuinely nice person.
Who will they romance, if anyone? Varric, if possible and if not then IB.
Do they have scars, where from? Yes, she has a scar on her left eye, which is a reminder of a too close encounter with a Templar that caught her off guard.
If they met, how would your inquisitor get along with your Warden/Hawke? I dread to think, I think she would get on well with my warden eventually, I hope but will come to loggerheads ( Alistair/Morrigan relationship) with my Hawke as she is quite practical and Ophelia can be quite idealistic, so my Warden may find himself having to separate them on occasion.
What's your Inquisitor's opinion on each of the various races, if any? She is interested, in other races and cultures and likes to see how they work, however she does not agree with many of their belief and social system and will vocally object to quite a few.- the caste system in Orzammar, The Qun and how it treats people, the treatment of elves and she finds the Mage/Templar war silly in a time of crisis and should never of happened in the first place.
