What color best represents them?

Mythos I see being black and dark green, practical but with a subtle dash of life to him. Ash is harder, since he's a mixture of down-to-earth and cheerful that's hard to sum up in a color. Pale yellow, maybe.

 

If they were an animal, which would they be?

Mythos is a moose. Not very fancy at all so it generally doesn't stand out, seems fairly placid most of the time, but strong and very willing to protect its territory. Ash I'd probably say is a falcon of some kind, albeit one heavy on the natural camoflage.

 

Which music genre would best describe your Inquisitor?

Hmm. For Mythos I'd want something slow and weighty. Gregorian chants, maybe? Ash is folk music all the way.

 

What season reflects their personality best?

Mythos is winter, for the quiet stillness. Ash is spring, for slowly building growth and potential.

 

If your Inquisitor was a force of nature, what kind would they be? (hurricane, earthquake, etc.)

I'm gonna steal someone else's answer and say Ash is rain, though whether it's a gentle spring rain or a roaring downpour depends on whether he'd pissed at you or not. Mythos is mostly stoic and reactive, rather than a force of his own - let's call him an avalanche.

 

What’s their alignment? (chaotic good, neutral evil, etc.)

Mythos: Lawful Good. Ash: Neutral Good.

 

Which element best describes them?

Mythos is earth, no question. I'd say Ash is air, though as the story goes on he might edge more into fire.

 

What scent would they be associated with, if any?

Mythos is pretty strongly associated with the woods in my mind, so anything deep woods will probably work. Herbs and wet clay would be my first idea. Not so sure about Ash, maybe the smell of a fresh brook running over rock.

 

Do they have a background story?

Mythos was based on a Warden I ran once, so he's got the orphaned-as-a-baby-raised-by-the-clan thing Mahariel had. His father was a Keeper, and he was named after the goddess Mythal because everyone hoped he'd become a Keeper himself when he got older. (His father wanted him to be a protector of the clan, first and foremost.) Unfortunately he doesn't have magic, and he's still a little bitter about that. In spite of that he tends to take on what leadership positions he can, although he's also happy to serve any Keeper to the best of his ability. His skill as a defensive fighter has made him the clan's combat strategist.

 

Ash is a farm boy whose parents set up a homestead after they both fled the Qun together. He had every intention of taking over the farm and living a quiet life, but then his magical abilities awakened, so he's trying to figure out how much danger he's willing to put his family in. He mostly prefers to work as a local healer, but he's done some mercenary work in the past, in the hopes he could make strong allies that would help him avoid the templars. He's a little alarmed by how good he is at it.

 

Do they have any family?

Mythos would say, "Yes, I'm a member of Clan [Name-To-Be-Determined]," but his parents are dead and he's an only child, so no blood relatives. Ash has both parents still, and he also has three younger siblings.

 

Are they better with children, animals, or neither?

Mythos is fairly good with both, but probably better with animals - he has a still, stoic nature that tends to fascinate both, but it also scares the kids sometimes. Ash is great with both, being both the oldest of four and a farm boy. I'd probably give the nod to children.

 

What’s the Inquisitor’s favorite food?

Mythos makes a heavy stew with a complicated mix of herbs and roots - it's a demanding recipe that calls for a lot of attention, made of ingredients he has to dig up himself, and he's proud of it to the point that it embarrasses him a little. (Granted, that's not hard.) Ash has a flat, crisp, slightly sweet piece of bread that his mother makes on feast days.

 

Can they cook?

Both of them can cook. Though they lean more toward practical recipes over fancy meals.

 

Do they have any hobbies?

Mythos has a surprisingly good singing voice. Ash is a craftsman - it's not exactly a hobby, since he mostly learned it to help around the farm, but he really enjoys anything that lets him work with his hands, from sewing to metallurgy.

 

Are they very fashion-conscious or more practical?

Both very, very practical.

 

Are they neat or unorganized?

Both neat, though Mythos takes it to almost military levels. Ash is a bit more relaxed.

 

Who do you think they’ll get along with best among their companions, if any?

Mythos will probably find it easier to relax among the elves at first, and they're both the type of people he'd get along with really well in general. Sera provides a cheerful counterpart to his rather stoic tendencies, which he appreciates even if he doesn't always let on that he does, and Solas makes him think of his father in a lot of ways, or at least what he hopes his father was like. He'd also gets on well with Varric (again, cheerful counterpart) and since he tends to be a bit overprotective of His People, he'd probably take Cole under his wing pretty fast.

 

Who will they romance, if anyone?

Varric. Both of them.  But if that doesn't happen, I could see Mythos going for Blackwall or Solas, and Ash will probably end up with Josephine.

 

Do they have any scars? What are they from?

Mythos has over a dozen scars, from hunting, accidents in the forest, accidents at camp (of course) and occasional skirmishes with angry shemlen. His most noticeable one is from a hunting trip - a would-be hunter going for their vallaslin downed a deer but didn't kill it, then tried to get close before finishing it off. Mythos had to shove the kid out of the way and got a face full of antlers for his trouble. Ash doesn't have any.

 

If they met, how would your Inquisitor get along with your Warden? Your Hawke?

As different as they are, Mythos and Ash would mostly be in agreement about their predecessors. They'd like Julia Cousland well enough, but she's too smooth and manipulative for either of them to really trust her. They'd get on a lot better with Roland Hawke, though Mythos would wish he'd grow a backbone and stop playing the politician.

 

What’s your Inquisitor’s opinion on each of the various races, if any?

Ash: doesn't care. Mythos is more protective of elves in general (he feels it's his duty to protect the Elvhen when he can) but he's prone to heroics at the best of times so it's hard to tell. He's also a lot more wary of humans when they're gathered in groups, though he treats individuals the same as he would anyone else.

He would be a flood, unforgiving and cares not who gets caught in in force.

I want to try to go for a lawful neutral but I have a feeling he'd be more neutral good or chaotic good^^;

Water has enough patience to shape even the most stubborn pieces of earth.

You know that smell when you open a book for the first time? I think he'd be like that but can't explain why.

Yes he has a little bit of one but he still needs a lot of tweaking so he doesn't fall into any bad tropes

Yes none by blood anymore but he did have/has one that he loves very much.

 

Are they better with children, animals, or neither?
He is good with neither since he's a gray giant and children tend to cry when they see him, and he really hasn't tried to have pets or anything of the like so no real experience with animals.

Not really a food but he loves black teas and coffee.

Yes Atiya doesn't cook much but he knows enough to keep himself full.

Book collecting, he loves knowledge mostly knowledge dedicated to how different cultures and religions look at the same things. He also enjoys learning how to make medicine and collecting the samples needed for it himself

Aitya is a mix of both being slightly vain he does like to look good but he won't sacrifice protection to look impressive.

Half ass organized, neat enough where he can find what he's looking for but not enough for other people to know where things are.

I think he'll get along best with Dorian, Solas and Cole, maybe Blackwall as well.

He has a few mostly on the palms of his hands from dealing with thorny plants and from many glass vials he has accidentally broken while collecting samples.

My Snow White Amell Warden would probably get along with him just fine since she got along with Sten nicely and since Aitya is a mage they would have something to connect over.

My Loreley Mage Hawke and him would probably have some trust issues since her experience with qunari wasn't great and really doesn't know what a valshok is or really cares.

No strong opinion over them one way or the other he finds the different cultures and religions fascinating but that is about it. Since Aitya does not like it when he is judged solely by his race he is more of a  judge by individual not by race kind of qunari.

"It's about time!!" Seriously, between the constant quips and all around fun they have when they're together, they couldn't be more perfect for each other and everyone knows it. Plus, Cassandra has been secretly shipping them together since they first met. The fangirl is strong in that one.

3) Varric wants to give your quizzy their favorite meal or a thoughtful gift... What is it and how would he give it to them?
Cersei isn't one for extravagant gifts so it would be have to be something very simple but Cersei wouldn't have it any other way.

4) Does Varric and your quizzy make their relationship obvious right away or is it hush-hush at first?
They wouldn't go announcing it, no. But it's not that they're trying to keep it a secret, they just don't feel the need to. Varric would grab Cersei for a tender kiss on the battlefield one day and everyone would be little confused with a " Did I miss something?" sort of attitude.

5) If it's on the down low; do they end up telling the group or do they find out on their own?

First move was a kiss and it was probably Cersei who initiated it, when she wants something she goes for it.

Cersei is a demon on the battlefield but her motivation to keep her soldiers safe can sometimes leave her vulnerable to enemy attacks. Varric knows this and keeps close to her in combat, if Cersei is charging the front lines you can bet he's not far behind.

8) Would your quizzy flirt with someone else? Would Varric? How would they react?
Cersei is a playful flirt by nature.Varric finds it amusing and is not the type to get jealous over her having a bit of harmless fun. Cersei is the same way and trusts Varric when he tells her that he would never dream of cheating on her. But that doesn't stop her from tossing the occasional dirty glance at his admirers from a distance.

She's a extremely dedicated and driven woman and heck if she's going to let an injury get in the way of completing her goal. Varric would have to drag her off the battlefield and force her to let him give her proper medical attention.

To elaborate further...

I think Varric, Solas and Vivi have an equal chance to be a LI at this point. Blackwall hasn't been denied yet but I just don't think so. Mostly because of his age and being so close to his calling.

And while I think Vivi has a good chance I also think that as the ambition, she's gonna be too involved with her own stuff to care. She's much too fabulous for me anyway lol

But yeah, I llove them all and I'm excited to get to know them~

I plan on having Varric in my part often primarily since he was the best at talking his way out of problems. Often times when Hawke didn't want to fight, Varric's silver tongue got everyone out alive with no bloodshed. That's the kind of asset I want with my inquisition.

To be honest, Blackwall is probably the person I would be least interested in all of the companions as an LI. Which is weird, because before now I've had a streak of crushing hopelessly on our Grey Warden compadres. Part of it might be that we don't really know anything about him... another part is probably that I'm shallow and his age is probably just too far away from my real life age for me to really feel any chemistry. 

 

Varric, Solas and Vivienne I'm all at least somewhat interested, Varric of course being the most. Varric > Solas > Vivienne. Vivienne and I probs wouldn't get along irl at all, but if she was an LI I think it would be a fun roleplaying opportunity to play a type of character I never really play. 

 

I'll probably eat my words for this later, but I never really took Solas' VA's twitter response as even semi-confirmation, it almost seemed like he was just giving a generic answer to avoid giving anything away because they told him not to. At this point I think he has the same chances and Varric and Vivienne. I would still be happy if it was him and Varric though, because I am getting more and more interested in him as time goes on.

I'd say Summer. She's a bright person and very warm towards people.

I'd say Lightning-- at least in a battle. She is quick with her strikes and they are usually unpredictable.

Neutral Good: The path of good is not always clear cut and following the rules.

(Sorry if it's different for you all, but I follow the Japanese philosophy when it comes to Elements which would make Adessa...)

Sky. The sky in Japanese philosophy describes just what Adessa is ; She is an inventor, a thinker, articulate, creative, powerful (though not necessarily in the physical sense)  and spontaneous.

 

What scent would they be associated with, if any?

Probably grease and smoke if we're being honest. She's an inventor as was state and spends  a lot of her time that way.

 

Do they have a background story?

Adessa's mother was a noble hunter-- a Casteless who was attempting to bare a son for a deshyr in order to rise into the life of Caste. However, she instead bore a daughter. However, the deshyr in question--Adessa's father did not want his dalliances with the Casteless known so he had sought, once the child was born to kill both Adessa and her mother. However, being a Casteless rogue all of her life, Adessa's mother had left with Adessa at a very young age (barely a few weeks). Honestly, had a dwarven man not taken Adessa and her mother in, it is likely they would not have made it but he did. This man is who Adessa considered her father as he raised her and made sure she was intelligent and always thinking on her toes. Growing up, Adessa took to making things --several inventions that made their every day life easier and was truly intelligent, her mind thinking in complex ways most of her life which had disallowed her to have much of a child hood(along with the pressure she felt in living up to what her father expected of her).

Eventually, her mother and "father" married and now at the age of 21 , Adessa has two younger brothers , both of which are ten years younger than she, being twins. She continues to care for her family in anyway she can, which with her wits and skills, has led her to working with the Carta.


 

Do they have any family?
Yes. She doesn't acknowledge the deshyr who impregnated her mother as her father though. Her family is her mother, her twin brothers, and their father.

 

Are they better with children, animals, or neither?

Adessa is very good with children and while she does like animals, she doesn't usually bond with them as she usually hunts and kills them for necessity.

 

What’s the Inquisitor’s favorite food?

She is absolutely weak for sweets. Especially the bake goods of her mothers.
 

Can they cook?

She can cook well enough. Nothing delicious , but passable.

 

Do they have any hobbies?

Inventing and crafting is Adessa's joy.

Practical. Her fashion sense would be atrocious.

Unorganized with most things to outside eyes. But in it being unorganized, it is organized to her as she would know exactly what she needs is at.

Adessa would do her best to get along with all her companions. She would get along with Sera, Iron Bull, and Varric the most, but I see her being able to befriend them all. With Cassandra, while she will greatly respect her and it will probably be mutual, she will likely be Cassandra's worst nightmare due to her often explosive inventions. The Skyhold will probably need a wing dedicated to Adessa's inventions to keep others away from possible explosions. Vivienne will not care much for Adessa's lack of grace and Adessa would not understand Vivienne's love of clothes. Adessa will possibly pester Dorian on his people in Tevinter, wanting to understand (As she will pester Iron Bull on the Qun and the Qunari). Adessa and Solas will most likely have plenty of deep intellectual conversations, many in which she will ask him what the fade is like and his thoughts on demons and spirits. She will find Cole to be very interesting and want to know about him before judging him based on his origin. Blackwall will have Adessa's respect simply from being a Grey Warden.

 

Who will they romance, if anyone?

Varric; I think her intelligence and the way she holds herself would intrigue him. Incredibly Idealistic, passionate, driven and loyal--I think they'd get along well.

Do they have any scars? What are they from?

The more noticeable scar is the one on her cheek--something from a blade. Though she has plenty of scars on her hands and body from years of inventions.

 

If they met, how would your Inquisitor get along with your Warden? Your Hawke?

Leilani Aeducan would be an inspiration to Adessa. Leilani was a smart, politically savvy dwarven princess who strove for the best for the dwarven people outside of her own desires. Adessa would be thrilled to meet her.

Rosalie Hawke lived her life as a kind person and wanted to make things peaceful among everyone, but she couldn't in the end and it disappointed her, but she moved on and attempted to use her influence for good, Fenris at her side. Rosalie and Varric were once the closest of friends so that in its self would make Adessa curious and want to get to know her. I think by this point, Rosalie would be a bit wary of others since she is the Champion who sided with the mages, but once she felt (or Varric assured her )Adessa could be trusted, she would like her. Rosalie being over 10 years older than Adessa would probably refer to her as cute, to the dwarf's frustration.

 

What’s your Inquisitor’s opinion on each of the various races, if any?

Adessa is interested to learn more about the different races. She is proud to be a dwarf and surprisingly outside of her own race, she knows a lot about the Dalish due to a near by clan where she grew up having often come into their town to trade. She often made them things and had learned her archery from a Dalish hunter her father befriended. She finds that she gravitates towards Elves before Humans and Qunari ( which she had never met until she met Iron Bull ) .
