My reason for thinking that Varric won't be a LI is because I think he's not bisexual (it would disrupt the even numbers they have atm if he isn't) and because I think they want to expand upon his relationship with Bianca.

Has 80% of the stuff you wanted been shot down in one way or the other?

Um...Yes.

Um...Yes.

Were you implied to be a bigot for asking for something that in no way, shape, or form involved bigotry?

Perhaps...this isnt the place to discuss it.

The Varric thread, more or less, has avoided this sort of controversy, and as much as i love complaining, i dont want to be the one to ruin it.

I plan on having Varric in my part often primarily since he was the best at talking his way out of problems. Often times when Hawke didn't want to fight, Varric's silver tongue got everyone out alive with no bloodshed. That's the kind of asset I want with my inquisition.

Yup, one of the reasons I love Varric...and why I am also very excited about Josephine being around. I have a feeling we'll have a lot more opportunities to solve things without violence this time around, and that excites me.

Sorry to hear that the LI announcements so far haven't worked out for you. Unfortunately, I think everyone's always going to have games where none of the romances really interest them since characters and people are complex and its hard to write characters that will appeal to everyone. Most of Bioware's LIs have never interested me, with a few exceptions, so you have my sympathies. There are a lot I'm interested in this time around, but that's a first for me. At least you have Josie and I'm sure she's going to be great. I know I'm so excited for her. :D

You do?

They are bland and textureless, just base nutrients.

Its almost like solid gruel...

Well, it depends which kind they are. I usually like the ones with stuff in them, like salmon or pickled plum, and I dip them in soy sauce. x3 I just love rice, though. I'm weird, I dunno why I like it so much.

This talk of riceballs is making me hungry. Here I am with all these delicious cherry tomatoes and no rice to make the rice balls with. Tis a sad day indeed.  -_-

Oh, not just the LI announcements. I meant 80% of things in general. I have a list of like 30 or so things, and I mean broad subjects instead of very specific things, that I would have liked in Inquisition but have been confirmed as not being in it. And some of those things Bioware has expressed they are not interested in doing so won't be in future games either.

I think the game wants me to hate it. :P

As for LIs, yeah the only ones that interest me are Cassandra and Josephine. Cullen is fine I guess but I've never got all the swooning he gets, Iron Bull seems like he'll be a fun guy but I have doubts I'll like his romance since he seems like the Zevran of Inquisition, Sera and Dorian I had hopes for but those have been dashed.

Mmmm salmon rice balls are the best! I love cooking and drowning it in soy sauce first before I put them in so the rice soaks in the sauce. Rice balls with tomatoes are also really good too.

Ah, When i was in Okinawa, i had regular rice balls.

You know just plain steamed rice and it was made into a ball, I ate it and i didn't find it overly tasty.

Aw, they didn't ever offer any more interesting ones? Perhaps those kind are more common where I live... Americans like flavor, most Japanese cuisine is too bland for them (even though I really like the authentic stuff personally), so the Japanese restaurants here probably know that and give extra options, lol.

I had a friend who lived in Osaka for awhile, where she learned to make rice balls and she came back and taught me, so I know they have those kinds there...maybe just harder to come by than the normal ones.
